  • Tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated Yonezawa Electro Special 21 Racer.  These are often missing from the 21 cars. The tooling for this cover was created from an original cover to ensure a perfect, factory fit. The cover is primed and finished in an automotive lacquer that matches the Yonezawa black color and then polished. Just remove from the package and install on your car. Absolutely no disappointments with this part! Other parts are available for this toy. The toy pictured is used to clarify the part in this listing and is not for sale.
  • 'Candy Vending Machine' battery operated saving bank from Wonderful Toy Company, 1950's. This RARE and highly collectible tin battery op is in excellent WORKING condition. It operates on two 'D' cell batteries. The toy has miscellaneous scratches and scuffs, mostly from the removable top tin cover. Originally designed for use with hard candies or peanuts, I recommend small 3/8 diameter wooden or plastic beads. When the cover is removed, insert the beads into the funnel. When a coin (nickels work best) is inserted into the slot, the inside of the toy lights up, Mr. Vendor cranks his handle and rotates the open top drum. As the drum opening passes under the funnel, a couple bead 'candies' fall into the drum and are dispensed through the chute at the front of the toy and the light goes out. This is an awesomely cool and not often seen toy that will be the highlight of your battery-operated toy collection - sure to please! This toy has a rarity scale number of 9 (10 being rarest) and had a book value of $1200.00 (in mint condition) in 1994. This is an extremely fragile toy. The plastic candy funnel will be removed for shipping and the cavity will be filled with styro peanuts to keep the vendor well supported for travel.
  • Unique item from the 1970's is this fun and functional 'The Picker' novelty guitar transistor radio in original styro packaging with name plate.
  • Another one of my personal favorites is this fabulous TN/Nomura/Baravelli Sonic Car Dodge Charger in 100% original condition and in the original box with insert foam blocks. The Sonic whistle has never been removed from it's plastic bag. Each blow of the whistle commands the car to perform a different function, forward, reverse, left and right and finally for the machine guns to propel out of the roof of the car with bright flashing muzzle fire! Unique and again, a large 15" long by 6" wide and 5" tall. There is slight oxidation on the brightwork trim of the car but overall is just stunning! Operates on 2 'D' cell and 1 9volt battery.
  • Very nice Thunder Robot Ha Ha Toys in his original box is ready for action! Ha Ha Toys robots are known for having better quality gear systems than newer versions of this toy and are more sought after because of that. Batteries have been installed and the toy was hand tested for function and then promptly returned to the original packaging. Thunder Robot walks across the Earth with his antenna spinning and raises his gun arms to fire his lasers. He works great and looks even greater when functioning! The silver color is rare and highly desirable. It looks fantastic in the box, on your shelf or in you collectibles cabinet! Very impressive to see in full operation!

  • A Smoky Bear remote-control, battery-operated toy made by SAN Co. (Marusan) of Japan in the 1950s. Smoky has 4 actions. He walks forward while raising and lowering his pipe. The pipe lights up and he exhales smoke from his mouth. The battery box is clean!  The body is plush with tin litho parts and accessories. Check out the video of this marvelous toy. As with many American copywritten, iconic names and institutions, Smokey the Bear was not immune from shameless hustle. Marusan got around the legal aspects of this by removing the 'e' from the Smokey name and by labeling the toy's hat with the word 'Pioneer', all the while mimicking the Smokey the Bear full wardrobe, complete with shovel! The ultimate in irony, Smoky Bear has a light up pipe and blows smoke like a chimney!

The Western Badman, Red Gulch Bar battery operated toy is a great, all-time favorite and prized collectible by vintage battery toy enthusiasts. The toy operates with two 'D' cell batteries inserted into the base. When the toy is activated, the desperado lifts his beer mug, gets 'red faced', turns his head and lifts his gun to take a shot at the bartender. The bartender swings to the side to avoid the shot while smoke exits the gun barrel. This is a continuous action toy in excellent working condition. Please watch our YouTube video of this marvelous toy in action! The Red Gulch Bar, aka: Western Badman is from the 1950's and comes with three mint whiskey bottles for atop the bar. There are three buttons on the back of the toy that make sound as well as flashing red LED lights in the engines and leading edges of wings and fins. I tried to capture the colors but they are much more vivid in person. An extremely well-made toy that also features an opening cockpit and retractable rolling landing gear. I have a demonstrator to play with and three in their original boxes for sale. These are highly sought after by space toy collectors and Disneyana collectors alike.
  • Meridan Kidzlight LED Night Light. Item 10271. Color changing LED and soft continuous white glow. Long lasting LED with night sensor. These things are just awesome and extremely rare to find now. Because they are sealed LED units, they never seem to wear out. I first saw the Meridian UFO night light at my sister's house nearly 15 years ago, which prompted me to go in search of these lights for myself. I ended up purchasing all of the remaining lights I could find and haven't seen any more available for years now. These lights are brand new and come sealed in their original blister card packaging. A must have for your sci-fi, space toy enthusiast or collector!

Movements include a realistic walking action while his head moves from side to side, and a loud growl as he raises his head.
  • Marx Pete the Parrot This Marx Pete the talking Parrot toy from the 1960's comes to you in nearly flawless, mint condition with the original box, hang tag and instruction sheet. This awesome battery-operated toy requires 3 D cell batteries and one 9 volt battery for the talking feature. This is one of the first battery operated toys to feature the use of transistors for operation. The voice recording mechanism utilizes the 9 volt battery. Pressing one of the buttons on the base allows you to record a special message. After the recording is completed, pressing the button again plays back your message and actuates Pete's beak, eyes and head movement to imply Pete speaking with your voice. These toys are almost never seen in this virtually unplayed with condition. The original box lid has a bit of damage and the missing pieces of the front are included should you wish to have the box repaired. This is a beautiful and outstanding collectible toy.
