1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart Diecast
Produced by Ertl in 2004, the 1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart diecast model car 1:18 scale is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Champion Bill Bagshaw’s Red Light Bandit. On its first run ever, Bill broke the NHRA record in July of 1968. The production of the 1968 Hemi Darts started a new era for drag racing. The straight line performance of these “door slammer” cars is the epitome of the full-bodied drag race classes, back in 1968 and today.
The Red Light Bandit features opening doors, hood and trunk, working suspension and steering, a fully detailed 426 Hemi V-8 engine and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10.5, W-4.25, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-14.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches. The model is still in its original packaging with the plastic banding still around the model. It was never displayed and the box shows minimal storage wear. A must have for true collectors!
