A 1957 Tonka “Big Mike” Hydraulic Dump Truck highly prized by Tonka collectors. The truck is in original condition, shows light play wear and both hydraulic pistons are freely working. The original Big Mike is a 1957 offering depicting the Ford style cab. Later versions of Big Mike are the square fender 1958 and the 1959 Landrover that has wide, solid plastic wheels.
The truck originally sold as a standalone toy and as part of the 1957 Road Builder Set. This toy is also available occasionally on eBay as a reproduction toy by Don DeSalle. This Tonka will be the highlight your pressed steel toy collection!
