Battery Box Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House is a perfect fitting replacement tin part complete with battery contacts. Each battery box is test fit to an original toy rear panel to ensure an exact fitting installation. Just solder your wires and go! The battery contacts are slightly different than the original ONLY in that I have installed the flexible brass contact at both ends rather than the round stationary contact as original. The contact board is also gray vs. the original tan color. *Please note* You will see in one of the gallery pictures that I have installed 3 'D' Cell batteries in the new box. These are Heavy Duty batteries - NOT ALKALINE BATTERIES! Alkaline batteries did not exist at the time the haunted house and many other tin battery toys were made. Slightly dimensionally larger than the heavy duty batteries, it explains why so many vintage toys with either tin OR plastic battery boxes have damaged battery boxes. Always remember, NO ALKALINE BATTERIES IN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE TOYS! Marx Hootin’ Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960’s. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features. The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 ‘D’ cell batteries. The 308 stainless steel mounting stem needs no extra care and secures easily to the bicycle's axel utilizing the wheel mounting nut, front or rear. This is a replacement WIND UP KEY for the CIJ Alfa P2 Racer , made in France. All dimensions for the replacement were taken from an original key. The brass shaft diameter and the steel winding handle are of the same thickness as the original key. The length is correct and allows winding without interference or binding near the back wheel of the toy. If you look closely at the pictures, I also drilled and inserted a brass locking pin which secures the handle to the shaft, just as original. These can be ordered with black painted steel winding handle or aged patina. Please specify when ordering. These are in stock in both variations shown here. A 1960's Humble Oil Pump & Derrick toy manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller and given as a gift to Humble Oil Refining Co. customers. It is a battery-operated working replica of an oil pump rig and derrick in fully working condition. The battery covers came in two colors, white and red. This toy has an original battery cover that has yellowed over time.

A replica cap compartment cover for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. This cap is near perfect and almost a dead ringer for the often missing plug. The fit is tested on my own toy and an original stack of 5 Kilgore Roll Caps (not included) is inserted and then capped. I believe the original cap was a hollow injection molded part and quite flimsy, which is why they're almost always missing. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. Please ask if you're looking for or need custom parts!

A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. A replacement brass metal battery holder and lightbulb for the 1960’s Ideal Toys Robert the Robot. The battery holder is a perfect fitting replacement brass part complete with a correct, new bulb. We test fit each battery bar to an original toy robot to ensure an exact fitting installation.
To install, just remove Robert's head and insert the battery into the holder. Install the part into the robot's body cavity and reinstall the head. He is now ready to light up!

Irwin 'Man From Mars' Replacement Bubble Helmet A two piece bubble helmet for the Irwin 'Man From Mars' wind up toy from the 1950's. The helmet comes in two pieces as shown and installs just as the original. There are 4 alignment pins on one helmet half and 4 corresponding holes on the other half. A small bit of super glue to each pin will secure the helmet to the spaceman. There is a hole in the top of the helmet for the rubber antenna, which is also available here on this site. Many of the original bubbles are missing, cracked and re-glued or have become clouded or crazed from age. My new bubble is guaranteed to be an excellent fit and remain clear for years to come!

Irwin Man From Mars Replacement Antenna</p> This is an exact copy of the original Irwin Man From Mars Antenna and is molded in rubber. It will fit the original plastic helmet or our new replacement helmet, also sold here. The antenna should be softened in hot water prior to installing in an original, sealed helmet so as not to crack the plastic from too much stress. Just insert with a slight twisting motion. You could also add a drop of dish soap for lubrication to the antenna base to ease insertion. These parts are in stock and ready to ship.

Lincoln Continental Hood Ornament Antenna Set A reproduction tin and metal hood ornament/antenna combination for the Linemar 1956 Lincoln Continental tin cars. These parts are compatible with all versions of the Linemar Lincoln battery operated friction and remote control. The company liked to ship these parts separately from the toy and as a result, these parts were often lost. I fabricate the reproduction hood ornament exactly as the original with a large tab on the bottom side. This feature allows the hood ornament to insert easily into the slot above the grill. The reproduction antenna is the same as the original diameter of the shaft and fits correctly into the hole in the fender. The car in the picture is for display purposes only and is not for sale. These parts are now made to order. Please allow two weeks for delivery.

A reproduction metal cast anchor which fits the early 1900’s Large Marklin battleships. This anchor will fit the Battleship New York, Columbia and several others. Available in painted (black) or unpainted condition. I had the pleasure of performing some intricate repairs on a Columbia Battleship. Replacement Battery Cover for the Marusan Cadillac This listing is for a tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated version of the Marusan Cadillac. The cover is often found missing from the Cadillac cars since the attachment is not permanent. As you can see, this new cover fits perfectly and looks great! A side by side comparison shows very slight differences between the two covers. My replacement has a larger piece of electrical board installed and the tongue latch is a bit longer for a better hold to the car. We prime the cover before finishing it with an automotive lacquer that matches the Marusan black color. The painted cover is then given a final polish. Just remove the cover from the packaging and install it on your car. Absolutely no disappointments with this part!

Here we have a Convertible Replacement Windshield for the Marx Dick Tracy squad car. This is a brand-new replacement windshield for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Dick Tracy squad, Marx Army Command and Fire Chief friction drive cars. The windshield is created from a mold taken of an original 6 PIN windshield. This windshield will also fit the 4 PIN vehicles simply by removing the second pins from the ends. The convertible replacement windshield is fitted to a tin vehicle during the curing process for a guaranteed excellent fit!

All parts are created exactly like the original and these are made to order and take about 2 weeks to complete. Please note that my pictures show my replacement in a different color than the original light blue. This is only to show you that this is for real! Many of these Marx houses are either missing the entire cat or the cat is missing the tail, which is quite fragile and prone to breakage.
