  • 1968 Dodge Dart 440 GTS diecast

    Produced by Ertl in 2005, the 1968 Dodge Dart 440 GTS diecast model car 1:18 scale is part of a Limited Edition of 2500 cars. A true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Champion Ron Mancini's bumble bee-striped SS/EA 440 Dart, which on its first time out created a new class record of 12.02, 118 mph. Ron drove it to the world record and second place overall in national points in 1968 and was only edged out by another Dodge in the last race of the season. This diecast model is No 7 in the Series and features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10.5, W-4.25, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches. The model is still in its original packaging with the plastic banding still around the model. It was never displayed and the box shows minimal storage wear. A must have for true collectors!

    Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2008, the 1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner diecast model car is No. 10 in the Sox & Martin Series and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth Road Runner. The mid year introduction of the 440 6BBL Road Runner was designated to bridge the gap between the 383 cubic inch V-8 and the much more costly 426 HEMI. The 69 1/2 6BBL package included a flat black fiberglass hood, four speed manual trans, a Dana rear axle with a 4.10 gear ratio, and three two carburetors a top an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and was rated 390 hp. This diecast model features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-11.25, W-4.5, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches.     Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2000, the 1969 Plymouth GTX diecast model car is No. 2 in the Heritage Series and part of a Limited Edition of 5000 cars. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth GTX. The team won many national events and titles over the years and ran many different cars and classes.  They competed in NHRA, AHRA and IHRA sanctioned events, and they would modify the car to fit the class at that event. This diecast model features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior.   • Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2002 the 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model car is Pro Stock Series #4 Issue No. 4 and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the 1970 Plymouth driven by professional drag racer Don Grotheer.  Don's Super Stock Plymouth race cars were always a contender at any racing event. His familiar orange, blue and white race cars looked as good as they ran. In 1970 he built and raced one of the first Barracuda Pro Stockers. The new Pro Stock class was a heads up class, with no handicaps. It also allowed the racers the use of fiberglass hoods and fenders and many engine modifications. These rules resulted in some of the fastest door slammers in the sport of drag racing at the time. This 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model features opening hood and doors, race oil pan, a detailed 426 Hemi Engine, authentic paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior.   • Produced by RC2 Collectibles in 2005, the 1971 Dodge Hemi Rod Shop Challenger SS/DA 1:18 scale diecast model car is part of the Supercar Collectibles series of custom, limited edition cars.  This MOPAR diecast model is a true-to-scale replica of one of the cars owned by Gil Kirk's famous Rod Shop. The Rod Shop was a well known Speed Shop in the Columbus Ohio area.  In 1971, Gil Kirk and Jim Thompson got together with Chrysler and formed an all Dodge race team. The scope of the team was considerable, participating in many of the sportsman classes and Pro Stock. The highly-detailed model features an opening doors, trunk, and  hood, steerable front wheels, and a beautifully detailed interior and chassis. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the "Miss Mighty Mopar" 1974 Plymouth Duster driven by long-time Chrysler racer Judy Lilly.  In 1975, Judy drove this 1974 Plymouth Duster into the winners circle in several major events. She became the first female competitor to win the Gaternationals at Gainesville in Super Stock.  In all, Judy Lilly held 4 national and 5 divisional drag racing titles and she never finished lower than 3rd in the NHRA standings during her 12 years on the circuit. In addition, Judy won driver of the year honors in 3 different years and was one of Mopar's best ever in the quarter mile. This 1974 Plymouth Duster diecast model features opening doors and hood, steerable front wheels, chrome wheels, authentic logos and paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior.
