  • 1920's Buffalo Toys Hy-Lo Ferris Wheel, No. 53 The Buffalo Toys Hy-Lo Ferris Wheel was the very first Ferris Wheel toy known to be produced in the United States. The toy was produced from the mid to late 1920's. The toy was created to resemble The Great Ferris Wheel, built for the 1893 World Fair. The toy has six revolving carriages, and each car is shown with eight people in the standing position, which was how passengers were carried in the Great Ferris Wheel. The toy is all tin and utilizes a spring and twisted metal rod propulsion system. As the twisted rod is pulled straight up through the trap doors, tension from the spring pulls the rod back down into the tower, turning the two-inch gear and spinning the wheel. Buffalo Toys used this mechanism in several of their other toy offerings. This Ferris Wheel has been in my personal collection for several years and is in very fine condition for a 100-year-old toy!

The Shooting Gallery is made of tin litho and includes a small pouch of steel ball ammo for loading into the gun. With a quick wind of the mechanism to the rear, the 'bad guys on horseback' come riding past on an elastic conveyor belt. Load your ammo into the gun and pick those guys off! The ammo automatically returns for continued play. The toy has had some paint touch-ups but was very well done. This toy was played with and loved but is in marvelous, displayable, and playable condition. An absolute must for your cowboy collector or tin lithography shooting gallery collector!

This RARE, Wuco Racer comes from the private collection of a dear friend who has been collecting toy cars for over 50 years. This is a nearly flawless, RARE race car and is 100% all original. The friction motor  mechanism is strong and smooth. It is huge at 20" in length and 7" high to the top of the driver's helmet. This is the last known use of the Yonezawa Champion's Racer stamping dies from the 1960's. Prior to this offering by Wuco, the dies were used by Gem of France, who created and sold the #42 Super Racer. As I have owned and sold all versions of this large toy, this particular example is one of the finest I've ever seen. Zero disappointments and an absolute 'must have' for the serious Indy car collector. Additional photos will be provided to interested buyers. Please feel free to ask. Due to the nature of this item, interested buyers need to contact me for purchase. Payment may be made by cash, good personal check, money order / cashier’s check or bank wire transfer ONLY. Arrangements can be made for personal pick up or professional packaging and shipping. The price for this toy is $15000.00 or you are welcome to negotiate an offer.
