Battery Box Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House is a perfect fitting replacement tin part complete with battery contacts. Each battery box is test fit to an original toy rear panel to ensure an exact fitting installation. Just solder your wires and go! The battery contacts are slightly different than the original ONLY in that I have installed the flexible brass contact at both ends rather than the round stationary contact as original. The contact board is also gray vs. the original tan color. *Please note* You will see in one of the gallery pictures that I have installed 3 'D' Cell batteries in the new box. These are Heavy Duty batteries - NOT ALKALINE BATTERIES! Alkaline batteries did not exist at the time the haunted house and many other tin battery toys were made. Slightly dimensionally larger than the heavy duty batteries, it explains why so many vintage toys with either tin OR plastic battery boxes have damaged battery boxes. Always remember, NO ALKALINE BATTERIES IN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE TOYS! Marx Hootin’ Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960’s. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features. The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 ‘D’ cell batteries. A 1960's Marx Bristol 188 XF926 Jet Aeroplane. A very clean battery-operated toy in excellent working condition. The Bristol 188 XF-926 Jet airplane was made in Japan and was modeled after an experimental aircraft designed by and made by the Bristol Aircraft Company in the 1950's. The toy engines "power up" and light up one after the other. The jet then taxis along for a short distance, stops and repeats. One of the many Marx battery operated fighting jets in amazing condition!

Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House can be seen in a mid 1960's TV commercial featuring a spooky announcer and two children playing with the house. The actions are triggered by pressing the buttons on the side. A jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window. A scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a skeleton that jumps out of the chimney. A spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. This listing is for a new, WORKING replacement antenna for the Marx Colonel Hap Hazard and Hi- Bouncer Moon Scout battery operated robots. All of our reproduction parts are created from a duplicating process (NOT 3D!) using original toy parts. Parts such as this one, which feature electric, lighted components, are thoroughly researched and materials are used that most closely create the function of original parts. Correct diameter brass tubing is used on the base of the antenna for seamless, constant electrical contact just as the original part. This is done to ensure perfect fitting and authentic replacement parts that require no refinishing or altering prior to installing on your vintage toys. The results are undeniable and sure to please. This is a brand new replacement windshield/convertible top for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Falcon friction drive car. The top comes clear and ready for painting in your favorite color. This new top was created from a mold made from the black top in the pictures. As you can see, it's a perfect fit and the glass is clear. The mounting pins are about 1/4" long. A perfect replacement for that cracked, warped or missing top.

A new, replacement metal helmet ring and fiber insulator for the Marx Colonel Hap Hazard battery operated Robot and the Marx Hi-Bouncer Moon Scout Robot. These parts are commonly missing from the toy because of aggressive removal of the lighted antenna. The ring and fiber gasket design keeps the lighted antenna from shorting out during operation. We fabricate these parts from original toy parts for dimensional reference. Test fitting each part to the original toy ensures a hassle free, easy installation.

Here we have a Convertible Replacement Windshield for the Marx Dick Tracy squad car. This is a brand-new replacement windshield for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Dick Tracy squad, Marx Army Command and Fire Chief friction drive cars. The windshield is created from a mold taken of an original 6 PIN windshield. This windshield will also fit the 4 PIN vehicles simply by removing the second pins from the ends. The convertible replacement windshield is fitted to a tin vehicle during the curing process for a guaranteed excellent fit!
