Without a doubt, one of the RAREST and coolest space toys ever made. 1960's Bandai Sears Radiation Tester Exclusive Area battery operated toy in nice working condition. This toy was available ONLY through Sears and could be found in their 1961 catalog. It operates on two 'D'cell batteries and features Bump N Go action, opening rear bay doors, a smoky fog emits while the radiation tester unfolds and lifts out of the bay. The arm retracts back into the bay and the doors close and the toy is on it's way again. During the entire cycle, the light pods in the rear flash red and green intermittently and are very bright. This early Japanese tin toy is a highly sought after space toy example and is sure to please. As can be seen in the pictures, the toy is in working condition and shows playwear and no paint touch ups. The battery compartment is very clean. This is a sizable toy stretching 21 inches in length, 5 inches wide and nearly 6 inches tall to the top of the antenna. Uncle Al's Toys is the only maker and provider of replacement parts for this toy. Both toys available here have replacement light pods, large antenna and front sight. Also included but not shown is a wonderful, first quality reproduction box, also available nowhere else! A great old vintage battery operated space toy that makes an outstanding functioning shelf piece display. This is not one to miss!

Beautiful Bandai BMW Isetta friction powered vehicle in excellent original condition. Friction motor is sound and firm as new and the toy features a realistic opening front end to enter the vehicle.

Masudaya 'Queen Of The Sea' battery operated ocean liner in excellent working original condition. The Queen requires 3 'D' cell batteries for operation and features Bump N Go action, loud ships horn, red and green flashing lights and spinning radar antenna. The antenna and metal ship's flag are Uncle Al's reproductions. There is some very minor rust damage near the battery compartment but not inside. Awesome toy nearly 24" long.

Available ONLY through Uncle Al's Toys is this ALL TIN replica robot driver head for the rare 'Y' Company Space Patrol Car. This head was created from photographs of the auction car from the Griffith's Auction of 2000. Only two tabs held the original head to the toy, which is probably why so many heads were lost. Also available for this car are replacement hub caps and tinted windshield!

Only available through Uncle Al's Toys is the 100% complete and brand new remote control for the Marx Hi-Bouncer Moon Scout Robot toy. All parts are created exactly like the original and these are made to order and take about 2 weeks to complete. Please note that my pictures show my replacement in a different color than the original light blue. This is only to show you that this is for real! Your remote will be molded in the same light blue as original and orientation of colored control buttons will also be the same as original. As far as I know, Hi- Bouncer is the only toy to ever use this style remote, making it an absolute must have to complete your robot to original condition. This is a replacement front sight for the 1960's Sears Exclusive Bandai Area Radiation Tester. This part was cast from a mold of an original toy part and installs to the toy as original. Simply insert the end into the toy with a little adhesive and press into place. Many other parts are available for this toy.

Bandai Area Radiation Tester Replacement RADAR DISH is a 3 piece part. The dish has a plastic backing, center plastic mount and a metal reflector. It attaches to the toy exactly as the original with holes for the mounting pin and extension arm. More parts are available for this toy.

Bandai Area Radiation Tester Replacement LIGHT PODS, L&R Set of two lights are now finally available. These light pods were created from molds made of the original toy parts. The brass contacts for the light bulbs are hand made of the same thickness and configuration of the original parts. The same wattage bulbs are installed and colored as original. Ample wire is supplied and will be trimmed to length when you install. It should be noted that the pods are designed to be installed in the same fashion as the original parts. Some skill is required to open the tin pod pylons (not included - you must have the original pylons). The pods are secured to the pylon by brass eyelets with a minimum length of approximately 3/16". Once mounted, the wiring for each pod is trimmed to length and soldered to the pylon electrical mount pins. Be sure to apply electrical tape over the solder connections before reassembling the two pylon halves. The pods are also available separately for $135.00 each. A discount savings is applied when buying the set of two and is reflected in this price of $250.00.

Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House Black CAT is a perfect reproduction of the original toy part. Many of these Marx houses are either missing the entire cat or the cat is missing the tail, which is quite fragile and prone to breakage. I take great care to cast the cat in black plastic and add paint for the yellow eyes and red tongue, just like the original! Marx Hootin' Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960's. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features. The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a skeleton that jumps out of the chimney, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 'D' cell batteries. A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. Here we have a new RED replacement jet cone for your Nomura (TN) Japan 3 Stage Rocket. The pins on the original toy cones were very easily broken due to their outside location on the main body of the rocket. This toy REALLY moves when in operation and it's understandable why these fragile parts would break. The installation of these parts is not for the inexperienced individual. There are tiny light bulbs (not included) on very short wires that mount to the back of the cones and great care must be taken when removing the old cones. This is the ONLY source for this toy part and it is a perfect replacement!

This is an item that I've needed to make for some time and finally have it ready for purchase. The Bandai Volkswagen Bus battery operated version has this delicate, rear opening door that is so often missing from these toys. I had a toy with a damaged original door that I was able to recreate in tin to look and function just as original. This new tin door comes as shown in white automotive primer for $95.00 USD and can be finish painted in either RED or CREAM IVORY as the two original toy color versions that were available for an additional $25.00. It also comes with the hinge pin for mounting the door to the vehicle. This is an absolute must have if your bus is missing its rear hatch door and it is available no where else!

A perfect fitting replacement Bee Hive Gun Tip for the B-W Molded Plastics Company 'Tommy-Ray Space Gun'. The space gun is a battery operated toy featuring a noisy, vibrating ray gun blast with a light up gun tip. The toy operates on two 'D' cell batteries. The Bee Hive Gun Tip is a removable toy part that provides access to the light bulb in the end of the gun and it slips snugly over the plastic that surrounds the back of the light bulb. Many Tommy-Ray Space Guns no longer work. There is little to no way to service them because of the adhesive and type of plastic used. They are literally fused together and I've yet to successfully separate one to date. With that being said, it is still an excellent display toy when complete and it REALLY looks good with the matching helmet and box.

Tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated Yonezawa Electro Special 21 Racer. These are often missing from the 21 cars. The tooling for this cover was created from an original cover to ensure a perfect, factory fit. The cover is primed and finished in an automotive lacquer that matches the Yonezawa black color and then polished. Just remove from the package and install on your car.
