This is a replacement front sight for the 1960's Sears Exclusive Bandai Area Radiation Tester. This part was cast from a mold of an original toy part and installs to the toy as original. Simply insert the end into the toy with a little adhesive and press into place. Many other parts are available for this toy.

Bandai Area Radiation Tester Replacement LIGHT POD, Right Hand RED is now finally available. These light pods were created from molds made of the original toy parts. The brass contacts for the light bulbs are hand made of the same thickness and configuration of the original parts. The same wattage bulbs are installed and colored as original. Ample wire is supplied and will be trimmed to length when you install. It should be noted that the pods are designed to be installed in the same fashion as the original parts. Some skill is required to open the tin pod pylons (not included - you must have the original pylons). The pods are secured to the pylon by brass eyelets with a minimum length of approximately 3/16". Once mounted, the wiring for each pod is trimmed to length and soldered to the pylon electrical mount pins. Be sure to apply electrical tape over the solder connections before reassembling the two pylon halves. The pods are also available as a set for a discounted rate of $250.00.

Bandai Area Radiation Tester Replacement RADAR DISH is a 3 piece part. The dish has a plastic backing, center plastic mount and a metal reflector. It attaches to the toy exactly as the original with holes for the mounting pin and extension arm. More parts are available for this toy.

This is an item that I've needed to make for some time and finally have it ready for purchase. The Bandai Volkswagen Bus battery operated version has this delicate, rear opening door that is so often missing from these toys. I had a toy with a damaged original door that I was able to recreate in tin to look and function just as original. This new tin door comes as shown in white automotive primer for $95.00 USD and can be finish painted in either RED or CREAM IVORY as the two original toy color versions that were available for an additional $25.00. It also comes with the hinge pin for mounting the door to the vehicle. This is an absolute must have if your bus is missing its rear hatch door and it is available no where else!

A hood ornament replica for the Bandai Lincoln Convertible/Coupe. The replica is cast from an original ornament and fits exactly like the original installation. These are in stock and ready to go. *PLEASE NOTE* You may have to disassemble the toy in order to install this part, depending on whether or not the original emblem was pulled completely out or snapped off. If a piece is still showing on the top of the radiator shell, you can carefully trim the emblem base with an Exacto knife and push the remainder of the shaft through the hole. The new ornament can be glued in place rather than opening the toy.

Bandai Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 'Flying Lady' hood ornament replica, faithfully reproduced to fit exactly like the original installation. I cast my replica from an original ornament. Unlike the replacements offered by my competitors, my 'Flying Lady' still has her head . . . *PLEASE NOTE* You may have to disassemble the toy in order to install this part, depending on whether or not the original emblem was pulled completely out or snapped off. Without a doubt, one of the RAREST and coolest space toys ever made. 1960's Bandai Sears Radiation Tester Exclusive Area battery operated toy in nice working condition. This toy was available ONLY through Sears and could be found in their 1961 catalog. It operates on two 'D'cell batteries and features Bump N Go action, opening rear bay doors, a smoky fog emits while the radiation tester unfolds and lifts out of the bay. The arm retracts back into the bay and the doors close and the toy is on it's way again. During the entire cycle, the light pods in the rear flash red and green intermittently and are very bright. This early Japanese tin toy is a highly sought after space toy example and is sure to please. As can be seen in the pictures, the toy is in working condition and shows playwear and no paint touch ups. The battery compartment is very clean. This is a sizable toy stretching 21 inches in length, 5 inches wide and nearly 6 inches tall to the top of the antenna. Uncle Al's Toys is the only maker and provider of replacement parts for this toy. Both toys available here have replacement light pods, large antenna and front sight. Also included but not shown is a wonderful, first quality reproduction box, also available nowhere else! A great old vintage battery operated space toy that makes an outstanding functioning shelf piece display. This is not one to miss!

Battery Box Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House is a perfect fitting replacement tin part complete with battery contacts. Each battery box is test fit to an original toy rear panel to ensure an exact fitting installation. Just solder your wires and go! The battery contacts are slightly different than the original ONLY in that I have installed the flexible brass contact at both ends rather than the round stationary contact as original. The contact board is also gray vs. the original tan color. *Please note* You will see in one of the gallery pictures that I have installed 3 'D' Cell batteries in the new box. These are Heavy Duty batteries - NOT ALKALINE BATTERIES! Alkaline batteries did not exist at the time the haunted house and many other tin battery toys were made. Slightly dimensionally larger than the heavy duty batteries, it explains why so many vintage toys with either tin OR plastic battery boxes have damaged battery boxes. Always remember, NO ALKALINE BATTERIES IN ANTIQUE/VINTAGE TOYS! Marx Hootin’ Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960’s. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features. The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 ‘D’ cell batteries. This is a replacement WIND UP KEY for the CIJ Alfa P2 Racer , made in France. All dimensions for the replacement were taken from an original key. The brass shaft diameter and the steel winding handle are of the same thickness as the original key. The length is correct and allows winding without interference or binding near the back wheel of the toy. If you look closely at the pictures, I also drilled and inserted a brass locking pin which secures the handle to the shaft, just as original. These can be ordered with black painted steel winding handle or aged patina. Please specify when ordering. These are in stock in both variations shown here. Dan Dare SS Eagle Spaceship Canopy for the tin friction rocket from Mettoy of Great Britton. This replacement canopy is an exact copy of an original toy part and is produced in amber tint. The canopy is a removable toy part that allows for flint sparking replacement. This new part contains all of the original flaws of the master part and looks tremendous! This brand new replacement seat for the Doepke Model Toy is created from a mold taken of an original toy part and is guaranteed to fit perfectly. The seat has the same bosses with a drilled hole to accommodate screw on fastening just like original. The seat should be washed with soap and water to remove mold release agent before painting or adhering cloth. This seat is available no where else but here and is in stock.

Ichiko Space Patrol Car Astronaut Driver Head - This is a replacement replica tin head for the Ichiko Space Patrol Car. I fabricated my first one of these from pictures of the original. They are comprised of four pieces, front and rear of the helmet, inside face and outer earmuffs and strap. I have since acquired an original head and have created new tooling so that my replacement head is now near perfect! I also replicate the windshields and frames for this toy which run $175.00. These take about 4 weeks to complete from the time of order.

A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original.
