Vintage Toy Replacement Parts

  • This is a replacement WIND UP KEY for the CIJ Alfa P2 Racer , made in France. All dimensions for the replacement were taken from an original key. The brass shaft diameter and the steel winding handle are of the same thickness as the original key. The length is correct and allows winding without interference or binding near the back wheel of the toy. If you look closely at the pictures, I also drilled and inserted a brass locking pin which secures the handle to the shaft, just as original. These can be ordered with black painted steel winding handle or aged patina. Please specify when ordering. These are in stock in both variations shown here. Make your Alfa complete with one of these rare keys.

  • Dan Dare SS Eagle Spaceship Canopy for the tin friction rocket from Mettoy of Great Britton. This replacement canopy is an exact copy of an original toy part and is produced in amber tint. The canopy is a removable toy part that allows for flint sparking replacement. This new part contains all of the original flaws of the master part and looks tremendous! Uncle Al is the only toy specialist making this part in amber tint to match the original! Just snap it on and you're good to go.
  • A new flexible plastic square tip propeller for the Cragstan or Yonezawa battery operated DC-7c aircraft toys. The perfect solution to those old broken or glue covered propellers. • A new cockpit/canopy set for the Hubley Kiddie Toy Fighter Bomber and P-47 die cast metal airplanes. We create all of our reproduction parts from a duplicating process using original toy parts (NOT 3D!). This ensures a perfect fitting and authentic replacement part requiring no refinishing or alteration prior to installation. The results are undeniable and sure to please. We employ the same process when re-creating our tin and metal parts, which we pre-fit to an original toy prior to shipment.
  • Ichiko Space Patrol Car Astronaut Driver Head - This is a replacement replica tin head for the Ichiko Space Patrol Car. I fabricated my first one of these from pictures of the original. They are comprised of four pieces, front and rear of the helmet, inside face and outer earmuffs and strap. I have since acquired an original head and have created new tooling so that my replacement head is now near perfect! I also replicate the windshields and frames for this toy which run $175.00. These take about 4 weeks to complete from the time of order.
  • A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank.  The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. Please ask if you're looking for or need custom parts!
