Kingbury Sunbeam Race Car Cast Metal Replacement Steering Wheel

This listing is for a new, replacement cast metal race car driver for the Kingsbury Sunbeam racer. The driver has been reproduced in the same multiple piece design of the original, two halves held together with a pressed rivet. After casting, the metal parts are cleaned and hand painted and detailed. Every effort is made to provide you with the most authentic replacement parts available. We DO NOT 3-D print ANYTHING for antique toy restoration. Our goal is to provide as close to original replacement parts as possible. Yonezawa, Japan Cragstan Talking Robot, 1960's - Friction driven, moves forward with just a push. Robot says four different messages. Requires one 'D' cell battery for voice operation. The voice device inside is a miniature record player. Pushing the yellow button in Robot's chest repositions the needle on the record to change the message. There is an on/off switch to the rear of the robot that controls the spinning of the voice message disc. When the toy is not in use, that switch should remain in the 'off' position and the battery should be removed. Dur to the age of this toy, I recommend inserting a fresh battery in him monthly and activating the voice feature. Over time, the rubber drive belt and electric motor become inoperable if not activated on a regular basis. This rare robot toy comes to you in original patina condition. I completely cleaned and restored his talking mechanism for full functionality. (Please see video) He is also wearing replacement ear wings and a replacement battery cover made by Uncle Al's Toys, molded from original robot parts for authenticity and perfect fit. A great piece for your robot collection!

Replacement Tire Skin for 16" Nomura Dream Cars, Yonezawa Atom Racers - These new tire skins are made from a mold taken of original Nomura Dream Car tires. The Dream Car skins are treaded tires, unlike the smooth, ribbed 16" Atom Racers. (Ribbed skins may be available in the near future) These skins are installed after first warming the entire skin with a heat gun or hair dryer on a hot setting. Constant moving and flipping of the skin is required to get the flexibility needed to install. Please watch the attached video of the installation process. They look amazing after installation and look so much better than the bare steel wheel! Please see our other listing for the 'Sports' hubcaps that adorn these cars.

Yonezawa Atom Cars/Dream Cars Sports Hubcap - This metal hubcap fits on a variety of the large, 16" friction cars from Yonezawa and Nomura. Our example is shown on a Yonezawa Atom 27 racer (car not available). This particular cap has the word 'Sports' stamped into the surface, just like original. The caps are nickel plated, and the 'Sports' script is highlighted in red lacquer paint. An excellent replacement cap for you to complete your jewel!

Marx Hootin' Hollow Haunted House 1960s, 100% Original - This amazing Marx toy from the mid 1960's is in excellent, fully working condition. The toy features jumping cat and skeleton, vampire/witch behind the front door, eerie whistling and spooky sounds, floating ghost behind one window and a rising lowering window shade witch in the other. Top it off with a shaking roof and shutters, and you have a masterpiece, wonderful toy that has no rivals. This toy requires 3 new 'D' cell batteries for operation, inserted into the cover on the back of the house. PLEASE remember to remove the batteries from your toys after operation and vintage battery toys should be operated at least once a month to keep the mechanisms from seizing. The Hootin' Hollow Haunted House is a classic favorite amongst collectors of battery-operated tin toys and those that collect items of the Halloween theme.
