The side of the trailer reads DO IT BEST home improvement products, Best Quality, Best Value, Best Selection. The side and front of the cab reads DO IT BEST ALL ACROSS AMERICA. I purchased this example from the 'Do It Best', Roselle (Illinois) Lumber Company on Irving Park Road in the late 1990's. There is a special vertical Roselle Lumber magnetic business card attached to the front of the trailer. This almost qualifies as a private label toy, never removed from its original packaging.

The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 ‘D’ cell batteries. This listing is for a metal replacement battery cover door that fits the Nomura battery operated Robby Space Patrol, the Moon Car - Moon Patrol Space Division #3 and the Moon Space Ship. This replacement door is a hand worked, three piece reproduction of the original cover and each one is fitted to a toy to ensure proper fit and function. The bottom of the toy needs to be accessible in order to properly attach the cover. The hinges come pre-bent for proper insertion and care must be taken when installing. The reason so many of these toys end up with missing covers is primarily due to the fragile design of the hinges. Once the hinges are inserted into the 'L' slots (working from the inside of the toy), the hinge pins that are bent at 90 degrees are straightened with a plier to form a 'T' shape, effectively locking the door in place. I use a duck bill plier to flatten the hinge completely. If you are uncomfortable opening up the toy, the door hinges can be carefully inserted into the 'L' shaped slots and then closed and latched but please note that this should only be done if you don't intend to insert the batteries. The cover, when inserted this way is only being supported by one half of each hinge. The battery weight will put too much pressure on the hinge and could break the pins. As you can see in the pictures, I've inserted a door into the bottom of one of my toys to test the fit of the door when the latch is engaged. Each door I make is tested in this fashion to guarantee an excellent fit for your toy. Other parts are available for this toy and will be listed soon.

Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2004, the 1974 Plymouth Duster diecast model car is Issue No. 11 and part of a Limited Edition of 2004. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the "Miss Mighty Mopar" 1974 Plymouth Duster driven by long-time Chrysler racer Judy Lilly. In 1975, Judy drove this 1974 Plymouth Duster into the winners circle in several major events. She became the first female competitor to win the Gaternationals at Gainesville in Super Stock. In all, Judy Lilly held 4 national and 5 divisional drag racing titles and she never finished lower than 3rd in the NHRA standings during her 12 years on the circuit. In addition, Judy won driver of the year honors in 3 different years and was one of Mopar's best ever in the quarter mile. This 1974 Plymouth Duster diecast model features opening doors and hood, steerable front wheels, chrome wheels, authentic logos and paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10.5, W-4.5, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.5 x W-6.5 x H-6 inches. The model is still in its original packaging. Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2008, the 1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner diecast model car is No. 10 in the Sox & Martin Series and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth Road Runner. The mid year introduction of the 440 6BBL Road Runner was designated to bridge the gap between the 383 cubic inch V-8 and the much more costly 426 HEMI. The 69 1/2 6BBL package included a flat black fiberglass hood, four speed manual trans, a Dana rear axle with a 4.10 gear ratio, and three two carburetors a top an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and was rated 390 hp. This diecast model features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-11.25, W-4.5, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth GTX. The team won many national events and titles over the years and ran many different cars and classes. They competed in NHRA, AHRA and IHRA sanctioned events, and they would modify the car to fit the class at that event. Produced by Ertl in 2005, the 1968 Dodge Dart 440 GTS diecast model car 1:18 scale is part of a Limited Edition of 2500 cars. A true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Champion Ron Mancini's bumble bee-striped SS/EA 440 Dart, which on its first time out created a new class record of 12.02, 118 mph. Ron drove it to the world record and second place overall in national points in 1968 and was only edged out by another Dodge in the last race of the season. This diecast model is No 7 in the Series and features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. Vintage 1960's Ohio Art Carnival Shooting Gallery in wonderful complete and working condition. Received as a birthday present when I was a kid, this large and heavy wind up tin toy has ducks on a conveyor belt that slowly pass in front of a circular spinning target. The original elastic belts are still in very good condition and the toy works well. It comes with two original dart guns and two original black shaft darts. An after market package of Ohio Art darts is included as the rubber tips are in good shape. This toy comes in the original box and shows wear and age but displays nicely. Beautiful full color litho gallery in extremely nice condition and rare to find with two original working dart guns/darts!

This is a brand new exact reproduction of the Pyro X-300 Space Cruiser manufactured by Uncle Al's Toys. A complete original toy was disassembled and molds were made of the individual pieces. As with the original, it features rolling wheels and an astronaut figure. These spaceships can be made in any color combination and more will be available here and on Ebay. The Pyro X-300 Space Cruiser is a beautiful, classic 1950's design that has withstood the test of time in it's popularity. Many different companies across the globe have taken this rocket and added there own design elements. Kleeware and Tudor Rose are two companies that offered this toy in color varieties. T. Cohn offered the rocket with their tin Space Port that would launch the rocket out of the garage and across the floor. Values continue to climb on original toys, making them somewhat unaffordable to new collectors which is why I decided to recreate the toy for those collectors. I will be making other X-300 variations myself with features such as battery operated lighting and friction/sparking drive.

The bank stands 21" tall and the globe on top lights up. The globe is battery powered and works. The globe holds up to 1.5 lbs of gumballs or other types of treats like candy or peanuts. The coin mechanism accepts pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Or set it for free dispensing. This item is new and was opened only to photograph and verify light function. Very nice Ha Ha Toys Astro Spaceman Robot in his original box is ready for action! Ha Ha Toys robots are known for having better quality gear systems than newer versions of this toy and are more sought after because of that. Batteries have been installed and the toy was hand tested for function and then promptly returned to the original packaging. Astro Spaceman Robot walks with swinging arms and his chest 'dash board' lights up. He works great and looks even greater when functioning! This toy comes in its original box with inserts. This listing is for a reproduction of an early German (1953 - 1970) dash mounted mileage counter. These were quite often used with early Volkswagens and other European vehicles that didn't have gas gauges. I make these from a mold taken from an original disassembled counter. The original counter had a white counter shroud with black base and number wheels featuring white numbers.

This is a replacement WIND UP KEY for the CIJ Alfa P2 Racer , made in France. All dimensions for the replacement were taken from an original key. The brass shaft diameter and the steel winding handle are of the same thickness as the original key. The length is correct and allows winding without interference or binding near the back wheel of the toy. If you look closely at the pictures, I also drilled and inserted a brass locking pin which secures the handle to the shaft, just as original. These can be ordered with black painted steel winding handle or aged patina. Please specify when ordering. These are in stock in both variations shown here. The brass contacts for the light bulbs are hand made of the same thickness and configuration of the original parts. The same wattage bulbs are installed and colored as original. Ample wire is supplied and will be trimmed to length when you install. It should be noted that the pods are designed to be installed in the same fashion as the original parts. Some skill is required to open the tin pod pylons (not included - you must have the original pylons). The pods are secured to the pylon by brass eyelets with a minimum length of approximately 3/16". Once mounted, the wiring for each pod is trimmed to length and soldered to the pylon electrical mount pins. Be sure to apply electrical tape over the solder connections before reassembling the two pylon halves. The pods are also available as a set for a discounted rate of $250.00.

A 1960's Marx Bristol 188 XF926 Jet Aeroplane. A very clean battery-operated toy in excellent working condition. The Bristol 188 XF-926 Jet airplane was made in Japan and was modeled after an experimental aircraft designed by and made by the Bristol Aircraft Company in the 1950's. The toy engines "power up" and light up one after the other. The jet then taxis along for a short distance, stops and repeats. One of the many Marx battery operated fighting jets in amazing condition!

Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2002 the 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model car is Pro Stock Series #4 Issue No. 4 and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the 1970 Plymouth driven by professional drag racer Don Grotheer. Don's Super Stock Plymouth race cars were always a contender at any racing event. His familiar orange, blue and white race cars looked as good as they ran. In 1970 he built and raced one of the first Barracuda Pro Stockers. The new Pro Stock class was a heads up class, with no handicaps. It also allowed the racers the use of fiberglass hoods and fenders and many engine modifications. These rules resulted in some of the fastest door slammers in the sport of drag racing at the time. This 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model features opening hood and doors, race oil pan, a detailed 426 Hemi Engine, authentic paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior. This is an item that I've needed to make for some time and finally have it ready for purchase. The Bandai Volkswagen Bus battery operated version has this delicate, rear opening door that is so often missing from these toys. I had a toy with a damaged original door that I was able to recreate in tin to look and function just as original. This new tin door comes as shown in white automotive primer for $95.00 USD and can be finish painted in either RED or CREAM IVORY as the two original toy color versions that were available for an additional $25.00. It also comes with the hinge pin for mounting the door to the vehicle. This is an absolute must have if your bus is missing its rear hatch door and it is available no where else!

Ha Ha Toys recreation of the iconic Linemar Lantern Robot, mint in the box. The lantern robot has lighted eyes and a lighted lantern in his hand. From the early 1900's we present this offering from the McDowell Toy Company of Pittsburgh, the #26 "MAC" Dutch Mill tin sand toy in very loved and played with condition. The toy originally came with a small tin tray for catching the sand and a small cloth bag to put the sand in. Sand deposited into the hopper at the top of the toy pours over internal paddles which turn the windmill blades and sets the little operating man on the back of the toy into action, making it appear he is turning the blades. The lithography appears on all sides of the toy. It is pure art and very indicative of the quality of early American toys. The toy has one broken tab supporting the hopper but it can easily be fixed. A reproduction metal cast canon barrel for the early 1900's Large Marklin battleships. The barrel will fit other battleships, like the Battleship New York and the Columbia. My cast barrels pick up all of the fine details of the original. I individually drill each barrel center to the correct inner diameter and add a tiny breach hole at the rear. The barrel measures 2" long. A barrel comes in a patina condition to reflect the condition of your toy, or it can be patinated as new for completely restored toy boats. I had the pleasure of performing intricate repairs on a Columbia Battleship from the Malcolm Forbes Collection. Other custom parts are available upon request.

This is an excellent reproduction of the KO, Japan Space Whale Ship by the St. John Co., Marxu International of China. Space Whale Ship is a wind up toy that will open his mouth and tail and fins move during operation along with a 'sparking' action in the rear of the toy. Original versions of this toy sell for hundreds of dollars. There are a few subtle differences to be mindful of when looking at this toy. Original KO Space Whales have blue tinted plastic for the eyes where as the reproduction is clear plastic. Extremely nice job done on the lithography and a great addition to your collection!

This is a brand new replacement windshield/convertible top for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Falcon friction drive car. The top comes clear and ready for painting in your favorite color. A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. Rocket USA R-1 Robot 2003 in GRAY is made in China. This extremely nice and mint in the box robot is a large skirted robot that is defined by the black trim pieces that go down each side of the toy. This version is quite common to find and is a great addition to collecting ALL the R-1 Robots, including the Limited Edition Black Stripe, Bare Metal and 'Rescue Robot'. Very simple battery toy which features Bump n Go action, flashing top light and eyes and clasping hands. R-1 operates on two 'AA' size batteries. This toy comes in its original box with inserts. This little red wagon customizing kit is a great model from the 1960's. You have the option to build three basic versions: the Little Red Wagon, a stock A-100 Dodge truck, and a drag strip push car. The never assembled kit is complete with original directions and decal sheet but there are loose pieces off the trees. This molded red plastic Dodge includes workable steering, opening doors and tailgate. Austin powers car produced by RC2 in 2003, the Austin Powers Mini Cooper diecast model car is a true-to-scale replica of the car driven by the 60's British Intelligence undercover agent himself. Like any spy worth his weight in love beads, Powers relies on specially equipped vehicles to give him the edge in the battle of good versus evil. The Austin Powers Mini Cooper features posable front wheels and opening doors. The dimensions of this "shag-a-delic" replica are approximately L-8, W-3.5, and H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.25 x H-5.25 inches. The model is still in its original packaging with the original plastic banding still around the car. It was never displayed and the box only shows some minor wear from storage. A must-have for true collectors!

Irwin 'Man From Mars' Replacement Bubble Helmet A two piece bubble helmet for the Irwin 'Man From Mars' wind up toy from the 1950's. The helmet comes in two pieces as shown and installs just as the original. There are 4 alignment pins on one helmet half and 4 corresponding holes on the other half. A small bit of super glue to each pin will secure the helmet to the spaceman. There is a hole in the top of the helmet for the rubber antenna, which is also available here on this site. Many of the original bubbles are missing, cracked and re-glued or have become clouded or crazed from age. My new bubble is guaranteed to be an excellent fit and remain clear for years to come!

A replica cap compartment cover for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. This cap is near perfect and almost a dead ringer for the often missing plug. The Toy Masters Space Survey Jeep friction toy sometimes comes with a tin astronaut driver, but always has a telescope that swings back and forth. A shaft protrudes vertically through the rear of the telescope and the antenna will rotate 360 degrees when mounted atop that shaft. Here we have a Convertible Replacement Windshield for the Marx Dick Tracy squad car. This is a brand-new replacement windshield for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Dick Tracy squad, Marx Army Command and Fire Chief friction drive cars. The windshield is created from a mold taken of an original 6 PIN windshield. This windshield will also fit the 4 PIN vehicles simply by removing the second pins from the ends. The convertible replacement windshield is fitted to a tin vehicle during the curing process for a guaranteed excellent fit!

A replacement cast metal propeller for the Mastercrafters Sessions Airplane Clock. Cast from a mold created of an original clock part and is a guaranteed fit for your clock. I cast these parts myself. All of the pictures you see here are of the new replacement part, not an original. The metal castings are filed, sanded and lightly polished. I decided not to plate the propeller as they looked quite appropriate in the lightly polished bare metal state. Protect the integrity and value of your clock by reinstalling a REAL METAL replacement propeller. This is a bare metal casting and is NOT plated.

Here we have a new RED replacement jet cone for your Nomura (TN) Japan 3 Stage Rocket. The pins on the original toy cones were very easily broken due to their outside location on the main body of the rocket. This toy REALLY moves when in operation and it's understandable why these fragile parts would break. The installation of these parts is not for the inexperienced individual. There are tiny light bulbs (not included) on very short wires that mount to the back of the cones and great care must be taken when removing the old cones. This is the ONLY source for this toy part and it is a perfect replacement!

Perfect fit replacement rubber parts just like original! The rubber nose cone is cast to fit tightly but in the same contour of the rocket tip. The rubber fin tips just pop in. You may need to poke the old rubber bases out of the way to fit the base of the new tips into the holes. Make your XM-12 Moon Rocket a real show stopper again with these great replacement rubber parts. They are made of the same grade material as the original parts and can be installed without taking your toy apart. Also available for this toy are the crystal clear canopy. This is a rare Walt Disney World, Epcot Mission Space X-2 Experimental Exploration Spacecraft battery-operated toy that was only available at the theme park gift shop many years ago, and the toy is no longer produced. There are three buttons on the back of the toy that make sound as well as flashing red LED lights in the engines and leading edges of wings and fins. I tried to capture the colors but they are much more vivid in person. An extremely well-made toy that also features an opening cockpit and retractable rolling landing gear. I have a demonstrator to play with and three in their original boxes for sale. These are highly sought after by space toy collectors and Disneyana collectors alike.
