We carefully color match our plastic to blend in our new buttons with your existing toy buttons. Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960’s. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features.  The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a skeleton that jumps out of the chimney, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features operate by buttons and 3 ‘D’ cell batteries. Other parts we have available for this toy include the witch behind the door, the standing black cat, the jumping skeleton,  the tin battery box door, the tin inner battery box and the tin rear house panel.

The tin litho is in beautiful shape and the battery box is clean. With the exception of the witch behind the door, this toy is 100% original and never been opened for repair!     Marx Pete the Parrot This Marx Pete the talking Parrot toy from the 1960's comes to you in nearly flawless, mint condition with the original box, hang tag and instruction sheet. This awesome battery-operated toy requires 3 D cell batteries and one 9 volt battery for the talking feature. This is one of the first battery operated toys to feature the use of transistors for operation. The voice recording mechanism utilizes the 9 volt battery. Pressing one of the buttons on the base allows you to record a special message. After the recording is completed, pressing the button again plays back your message and actuates Pete's beak, eyes and head movement to imply Pete speaking with your voice. These toys are almost never seen in this virtually unplayed with condition. The original box lid has a bit of damage and the missing pieces of the front are included should you wish to have the box repaired. This is a beautiful and outstanding collectible toy.

The tiger is near mint with a complete bright fur covering and clean remote control battery box. The whiskers are original, and the Marx logo sticker is attached to his belly. Movements include a realistic walking action while his head moves from side to side, and a loud growl as he raises his head.
  • A new Marx Race Cars Replacement Small Driver Single Pin. The part is cast in the white color as shown. Please see my other listing offering the dual mounting pin driver. It is a bit larger and fits the larger race cars and roadsters. These replacement drivers are the nicest available and fit perfectly just as the originals.
