For sale is this beautiful, all original and working condition Star Strider Robot manufactured by Horikawa of Japan. The toy comes with the original box and inserts and was produced in the early 1980's. There have been many reproductions of this style robot but the quality of their plastic gears is their downfall. This first issue toy features brass drive gears for long lasting play time, provided you use two new 'D' cell batteries. New in original plain box. A 1920s style, polished aluminum ashtray measures about 3.5” x 5.75”. A great collectible most likely made in the Prohibition Era. Selling AS IS since the age is unknown, but assuming during the 1950's. There are many versions of this novelty available in different metals, ceramics and Bakelite. I acquired this particular item from the Pomona, California Hot Rod Swap Meet in the early 1980's.

This is an excellent reproduction of the KO, Japan Space Whale Ship by the St. John Co., Marxu International of China. Space Whale Ship is a wind up toy that will open his mouth and tail and fins move during operation along with a 'sparking' action in the rear of the toy. Original versions of this toy sell for hundreds of dollars. There are a few subtle differences to be mindful of when looking at this toy. Original KO Space Whales have blue tinted plastic for the eyes where as the reproduction is clear plastic. Extremely nice job done on the lithography and a great addition to your collection!

Another fine Sears Exclusive toy is 'The Turnpike Line' Racer, Indy 500 style open wheel car with friction powered motor and with 'built in manual jacks'. This large tin car is in very nice played with condition. The manual jack feature works fine as does the friction power. The only items missing from the original offering are the two spare tires, the driver and the box.

Very nice Schylling Collectors Series Thunder Robot in his original box is ready for action! This beautiful RED Thunder Robot is highly sought after. Batteries have been installed and the toy was hand tested for function and then promptly returned to the original packaging. Thunder Robot walks across the Earth with his antenna spinning and raises his gun arms to fire his lasers. He works great and looks even greater when functioning! The Schylling San Francisco Tours is a vintage musical tin windup toy modeled after the 1930's Marx Honeymoon Express. Wind it up and watch the airplane and train circle the city while it plays the song, I Left My Heart in San Francisco. The two part mold captures all of the fine details of the missile for the best and ONLY current reproduction of this part. The box packaging for the toy featured the likeness of child star Billy Mumy in his space suit firing his Roto Jet Gun. It also listed all of the accessory pieces and different gun configurations. A boxed version of this toy sold on eBay in 2019 for just over $2900.00! The Roto Jet Gun shown in the pictures is for toy clarification only and is not currently available. Rosbro Halloween Witch on Motorcycle Candy Container - Rosbro Halloween candy containers come in a variety of subjects and styles. The Motorcycle Witch is a classic favorite! The toy measures 7" long, 5 1/2" in height and 2 1/2" in width, making her one of the larger Rosbro collectibles. Our offering is in excellent physical condition but does show paintwear to the black paint, which is common on played with items like this. Important places to look for damage on the Motorcycle Witch are the bottoms of her shoes, the green wheel axel pins and the edges on the pumpkin candy holder. All are perfect on this example. Rosbro Halloween candy containers come in a variety of subjects and styles. The Halloween Cat on Wheels is a RARE collectible! The toy measures 6" in height and 4 1/4" in width, and about 3" in depth. Our offering is in excellent physical condition and shows minimal to no paint wear. Important places to look for damage are the extended arm, the hand that holds the small pumpkin and the small pumpkin handle. All are perfect on this example. Rocket USA R-1 Robot 2003 in GRAY is made in China. This extremely nice and mint in the box robot is a large skirted robot that is defined by the black trim pieces that go down each side of the toy. This version is quite common to find and is a great addition to collecting ALL the R-1 Robots, including the Limited Edition Black Stripe, Bare Metal and 'Rescue Robot'. Very simple battery toy which features Bump n Go action, flashing top light and eyes and clasping hands. R-1 operates on two 'AA' size batteries. This toy comes in its original box with inserts. It was removed for these photographs only.
