  • Absolutely dead MINT 1950's Marx 30" Chris Craft Constellation Motor Yacht. This very collectible kit is 100% complete and comes with the highly sought after 'Bathing Beauties' (two figures) and the seated ship's captain in the original Marx paper bag.
  • 2004 Menards Enchanted Forest Collection 72" Standing Santa Figure We purchased this beautiful, 6' tall Old World Santa figure from our local Menards store back in 2004. Santa is extremely lifelike with thick beard, piercing eyes and real glasses! His burgandy/sage hooded robe is full and soft, covering a full length golden inner garment. The body comes in two pieces that need to be assembled; held together by 4 wing nuts and mounted to a sturdy wooden base. We displayed this Santa in our home the first year after purchasing and he has been in climate controlled storage since. I have not been able to locate a finer, LIFE SIZE Santa anywhere in my searches. This particular Santa was only offered by Menards one year and then the item was retired, as is the case with most Menards Enchanted Forest items. This item is large in its original packing box - 44" X 24" X 17" and approximately 40 pounds. Local pick up in Los Alamitos, California is preferred or shipping by freight.
  • The Buffalo Toys Hy-Lo Ferris Wheel was the very first Ferris Wheel toy known to be produced in the United States. The toy was produced from the mid to late 1920's. The toy was created to resemble The Great Ferris Wheel, built for the 1893 World Fair. The toy has six revolving carriages, and each car is shown with eight people in the standing position, which was how passengers were carried in the Great Ferris Wheel. The toy is all tin and utilizes a spring and twisted metal rod propulsion system. As the twisted rod is pulled straight up through the trap doors, tension from the spring pulls the rod back down into the tower, turning the two-inch gear and spinning the wheel. Buffalo Toys used this mechanism in several of their other toy offerings. This Ferris Wheel has been in my personal collection for several years and is in very fine condition for a 100-year-old toy!

  • 1965 Tonka Dump Truck No. 315

    $373.75 IL Sales Tax 8%
A near mint 1950s Tonka Dump Truck No. 315 with its original box and a small sale sheet featuring a Tonka construction hat. The box has age wear from being in a basement for years but is sturdy and sound. The red/yellow color combination truck shows no playwear, and the tires are perfect. There's a slight tinge of oxidation on the front bumper. Not terrible, but worth mentioning to the discerning collector. Also included is a little promo sheet that came with the toy, offering a value discount on the purchase of a Tonka hardhat.
  • Battery-operated, remote-control Crane toy, made in Japan by SKK Toy. SKK would later collaborate with Bandai Toys to create some of the most detailed and mechanically diverse toys of that time. This toy has forward and reverse motion and crane performs lifting action, as well as directional steering via the corded remote. This toy is in excellent, fully working condition and is quite rare to find.
  • This is a 1954 Tonka Jewel Tea Co. Truck and Trailer Pressed Steel toy. This marks the first year of production for this toy, as indicated by the straight cut metal at the base of the doors on the cab. The toy measures 24" long. The toy is essentially 100% original, with the exception of the repainted fuel tanks behind the cab. It has minor paint scratches and scrapes but is in overall very fine condition for a 74-year-old toy. This is a must have for any vintage Tonka or private label collector and has been a part of my personal collection for many years. The Jewel Tea Company operated a door-to-door delivery business from 1899 to 1981 delivering groceries and other household items from their catalog. Tonka partnered with companies like Jewel to create private label toys.
