Bandai Air Mail Autogiro Helicopter - Undoubtedly, one of the rarest and hardest to find battery toys is the Bandai Air Mail Autogiro Helicopter. This incredible toy comes with a controllable direction front wheel. When the toy is in operation, it moves in the forward direction with helicopter noise, rotating top propellor with flashing, lighted propellor tips. The toy comes to a stop and the glass canopy slides forward for pilots to exit. The canopy closes and the sequence repeats. This is by far, one of my favorite all time toys and in marvelous working condition. This will be a highlight in anyone's battery operated aircraft collection! The Dream Car skins are treaded tires, unlike the smooth, ribbed 16" Atom Racers. (Ribbed skins may be available in the near future) These skins are installed after first warming the entire skin with a heat gun or hair dryer on a hot setting. Constant moving and flipping of the skin is required to get the flexibility needed to install. Please watch the attached video of the installation process. Yonezawa, Japan Cragstan Talking Robot, 1960's - Friction driven, moves forward with just a push. Robot says four different messages. Requires one 'D' cell battery for voice operation. The voice device inside is a miniature record player. Pushing the yellow button in Robot's chest repositions the needle on the record to change the message. There is an on/off switch to the rear of the robot that controls the spinning of the voice message disc. When the toy is not in use, that switch should remain in the 'off' position and the battery should be removed. Dur to the age of this toy, I recommend inserting a fresh battery in him monthly and activating the voice feature. Over time, the rubber drive belt and electric motor become inoperable if not activated on a regular basis. This rare robot toy comes to you in original patina condition. I completely cleaned and restored his talking mechanism for full functionality. (Please see video) He is also wearing replacement ear wings and a replacement battery cover made by Uncle Al's Toys, molded from original robot parts for authenticity and perfect fit. A great piece for your robot collection!

The ammo automatically returns for continued play. The toy has had some paint touch-ups but was very well done. New Era Toys Marv Silversteen Unida Biscuit Delivery Van OOAK! This is another toy from the amazing collection of my friend, Richard Carmosino. This Marv Silversteen special is a true One Of A Kind collectible from New Era Toys. Sadly, Marv passed away in 2011 and many of his fantastic creations were auctioned by Bertoia Auctions in 2013. I have no idea how Richard came about owning this, but it is a truly beautiful creation based on the 1920's Buddy L cab and frame. Unfortunately, the toy was displayed in such a way that the artwork on one side of the toy has faded from sun exposure. The other side still has original, vibrant colors. That aside, New Era collectibles are skyrocketing in value due to their unique subject matter and high-quality production. This is an awesome, LARGE pressed steel creation that is a stand-alone piece and has been numbered by Marv. You will never see another like it! The toy measures 25" in length, 9" wide and is 13" tall. -

This is a beautiful, Smith Miller L Mack Aerial Ladder Fire Truck, ALL 100% Original and in fantastic shape! I acquired this toy from the original owner, who played with this (very little) as a child. The fine detail casting of Smith Miller toys is undeniably some of the early best in existence. The L Mack Fire Truck has a few paint scrapes but retains most of its original shiny red finish. We cleaned and restored this toy very lightly, with no paint touch ups at all. We disassembled and cleaned the ladder assembly, and inspected, lubed, and tested the gear box for function. Sporting the original ladder strings, the ladder fully extends as it should. All gears function as they should, with the exception of the rear tiller wheel that is naturally stationary. This massive toy measures a whopping 36" in length and the ladder extends over 48". It also comes with its original two-piece extension ladder mounted in the trailer. Another impressive early triumph for the Smith Miller Company. As a side note, when this toy was first released to the public in the 1950's, it had a resale value of $50 and was a toy that was considered for wealthier families. This will be an excellent addition to any large diecast or pressed steel truck collection, fire truck collection or as a gift for that collector of fire equipment memorabilia.

Lehmann Duo Rooster and Rabbit Cart Wind Up toy in marvelous shape. This wonderful, whimsical toy from the early 1920's is pure joy to display as fine art! The original lithography is in excellent shape and the wind-up mechanism is strong. In general, the biggest complaint about this toy is the poor performing walking action of the rooster and the drive wheel's tendency to just spin without gaining traction. Because of these issues, these toys spend the majority of their lives sitting on shelves, just to be admired. Our Duo Rooster and Rabbit is 100% original, with the exception of Mr. Rabbit's ears which were fabricated by Uncle Al. This is sure to delight Lehmann toy collectors or collectors of toy animals from the early 20th century.

1950s Ichiko Space Patrol battery operated car is in wonderful, working condition! This extremely rare toy has been in my personal collection since 2010, when I received it incomplete and in pieces. It was a very expensive purchase then, simply because the battery-operated version is SO RARE. An excellent quality Space Patrol, with its original box, sold on eBay in 2013 for nearly $32,000. Such a fun toy! When the switch is engaged, the rear drive wheel spins with clicking sound, the radar dish rotates, the Astronaut driver waves his 'No. 1' flag and the space gun on the cowl sweeps back and forth while the gun barrel flashes! The front wheels are poseable so that the car can proceed straight or drive in a circle. The tightest circle is approximately 4 feet. Please watch the You Tube video of the RARE toy in action! The toy has seen extensive playwear and the litho shows age. There has been a little touch up with ink to some of the litho. The toy was missing parts that Uncle fabricated to complete, such as the radar dish, 'No.1' flag and the flashing gun and mount. The drive mechanism is quite sound and strong. There was considerable wear to the bottom of the car, so it was chemically stripped and repainted and polished. The toy still sports the original windshield and Astronaut head. One new earmuff was fabricated and installed. I'm listing this toy at a very high price due to its rarity. I will entertain reasonable offers, and this is available locally as well as being available for international shipping.

1957 Tonka Tow Truck Official AA Service, a must have by Tonka collectors. This is the third year of the Ford style, round-fender truck toys that Tonka will produce. This pressed steel tow truck is in extremely nice, original condition and shows light playwear. It has never been cleaned (other than dusting) and has never been polished so the extraordinary patina is tremendous! A great piece for your pressed steel toy collection!

Vintage Doepke Model Toys Euclid Bottom Dump Construction Vehicle
Vintage Doepke Model Toys (Rossmoyne, Ohio) Euclid Bottom Dump Construction Vehicle, in excellent original condition and procured from the original owner. This excellent condition toy has seen virtually no play action. The paint is nearly flawless and the only item that could be considered a drawback is the reproduction exhaust muffler that has been installed where it belongs. This toy, along with the two Smith Miller Aerial Ladder Fire Truck and Army Materials truck were owned by the same gentleman, who played with these toys very little, yet his parents hung onto them until he was an adult and he kept them all these years. Vintage Doepke Model Toys Company was known for making realistic, heavy construction vehicles that could have almost passed for salesman samples or trade stimulators, primarily because of their accurate sale and operable features. The Euclid Bottom dump is such a vehicle as the cab is fully articulated with steerable wheels and will bend and conform to the landscape when travelling. The dump bed can be loaded with soil and when the vehicle approaches the area for the soil to be dispersed, a lever on the side will dispense the soil exactly as the real machine would do. The Euclid Bottom Dump measures 27 1/2" in length, 7" wide and 7" tall. It is made of heavy gage pressed steel with rubber tires and exhaust. A perfect shelf display for that vintage, heavy construction equipment enthusiast on your shopping list! -
This is a beautiful, Smith Miller L Mack Military Materials Truck, ALL 100% Original and in fantastic shape! I acquired this toy from the original owner, who played with this (very little) as a child. The fine detail casting of Smith Miller toys is undeniably some of the early best in existence. The L Mack Military has a few paint scrapes but retains its original flat patina, olive green paint, original canvas and tie down string (NEVER REMOVED!), two large wooden crates and two wooden barrels. I believe it originally came with three barrels. This would be an excellent addition to any large diecast or pressed steel truck collection, or as a gift for that Military or Armed Forces collector of memorabilia.

Made in the 1930s by the Wolverine Supply and Manufacturing Co., the Wolverine Zilotone musical toy features a musician playing a xylophone. Wind the toy and watch the clown move back and forth while hitting the keys with a mallet. The toy comes with one original disc, playing 'My Old Kentucky Home'. The toy winds correctly and the clown moves with his mallet to play the tune. The bottom of the clown's feet have been repaired to hold him in the correct, original operating position. A wonderful, early American toy!

The Sonsco Ichido Gypsy Fortune Teller is a battery operated toy produced by Ichida, Japan. A coin placed in the coin slot activates the toy. She has several movements, including a fortune card drops from her sleeve. This is an absolutely stunning, original toy. Unfortunately, it doesn't have all of the original cards as there were 10 each for boys and girls. Specifically, there are 3 original boy cards and 2 original girl cards. Gypsy's robes are nearly factory-perfect with the original red lace trim and pearl necklace, and she also has her original red cloth and crystal ball. The gypsy, as shown in the You Tube video, operates perfectly and dispenses the fortune cards in perfect order. This is an awesome, Marx Whistling Spooky Kooky Tree from the early 1960's. To operate the toy, insert 3 'D' cell batteries into the base of the toy. Texaco Fire Engine Chief Truck Gasoline Vehicle 1960s AMF WEN MAC Made in USA with the original box and original parts. The fire truck was made in the USA in the early 1960's. This toy was a premium purchase that was available at Texaco Gasoline Service Stations and was wildly popular due to its impressive 25" in length. The toy comes with a garden hose attachment. When used in conjunction with the two rubber side mounted hoses and attached at the pump point on the side of the engine, the water cannon on the rear will dispense a spray for realistic play! A very nice condition toy that has never been used with water. The metal is crisp and rust free. This makes for an incredible display piece as it is in very near mint condition with its illustrated accessory bag.

Yonezawa Lincoln Sundeck Convertible XL 500 - This stunning, friction drive concept car is a very rare and desirable TEAL color model. The Sundeck is more commonly seen in a bright red or bright blue color. This is one of the many Yonezawa concept tin friction cars made in the late 1950's. The original tinted canopy is in remarkable original condition and the toy finish has very few minor imperfections. Very little tire wear, excellent friction power and the faint painted script is quite clear on the bottom side of the car. This is one of Uncle's most prized possessions! This is a beautiful, all original, J E Stevens Mechanical Bank, BALD EAGLE & Eaglets c. 1883. In wonderful operating condition with the original 'chirp' box. Insert the coin into the eagle's beak and rotate the 'snake' lever. Watch the mother eagle tilt forward and drop the coin into the nest with the eaglets. The bank emits a 'chirp' noise to complete the coin drop cycle. Additionally, the finish on the bank is still vibrant and excellent. A very nice and rare color scheme is hand painted on the bank.

The church features faux stained-glass windows, a bell in the church steeple and flocked bottle brush trees surrounding it. The music box winds in the back and plays Silent Night. Both the music box and the interior light are in good working condition. This is the largest Noma Church display from the 1950's. The display is made of a light weight plastic in fairly good condition overall. There appears to be a crack in the front right snowy corner, but the display is intact and beautiful. Buddy L Mechanical Scarab Wind Up Automobile 1936 Pressed Steel. A pressed steel toy measuring about 10" long with a wind-up motor on the rear wheels.. Be sure to check out the video. This is a very unique and imaginative toy produced by Buddy L in the mid 1930's. The toy is in very good to excellent operating condition, with original paint and Scarab decals on the doors. The toy shows moderate playwear, with numerous scratches overall but the plated trim is clean. This is an extremely well made and unusual subject, collectible toy. To operate the toy, swing the stop lever to secure the rear wheels from rotating and wind the mechanism. Place the toy on the floor, release the stop lever and watch the Scarab move in a forward direction. As the mechanism continues its cycle, a small wheel drops at the rear of the mechanism causing the Scarab to turn in another direction.

A Smoky Bear remote-control, battery-operated toy made by SAN Co. (Marusan) of Japan in the 1950s. Smoky has 4 actions. He walks forward while raising and lowering his pipe. The pipe lights up and he exhales smoke from his mouth. The battery box is clean! The body is plush with tin litho parts and accessories. Check out the video of this marvelous toy. As with many American copywritten, iconic names and institutions, Smokey the Bear was not immune from shameless hustle. Marusan got around the legal aspects of this by removing the 'e' from the Smokey name and by labeling the toy's hat with the word 'Pioneer', all the while mimicking the Smokey the Bear full wardrobe, complete with shovel! The ultimate in irony, Smoky Bear has a light up pipe and blows smoke like a chimney!

Out of stock1929 Buddy L #208 Transportation Company Bus, 100% Original - This is one of the finest, all original, heavy pressed steel toy busses that you will ever see. This Buddy L Transportation Coach is in incredible, 100% original, unrestored condition with the original leather pull cord still attached. At an impressive 30" length, it's one of the largest toy busses ever produced. The toy has minor surface imperfections and there is mild wear to the original aluminum wheels. As this was also considered a 'ride on' style toy, the steerable front wheels were operated by the riding child turning the spare tires on either side of the front cowl. The toy features steerable wheels and both left and right front opening doors. The original paint is time aged but remarkably few chips or imperfections. The original decals are at 90%. Plated surfaces are tarnished and left unrestored. This is a true museum piece that was acquired from a reputable, world travelled dealer of fine antiquities. There are no disappointments here. This is an extremely nice 1960's Nomura TN Piston Tractor Battery Operated with a lighted engine, very near mint in the original box. The toy features forward, neutral, reverse and stop settings with a turn of the chrome knob on top of the tractor. Nylint Milwaukee Tools Semi Truck and Trailer new in box, #345-Z. The truck's cab is made out of plastic and pressed steel. The trailer is all pressed steel. The tires are branded Firestone. Nylint Toys produced toy semi-truck toys with Firestone branded tires until a major safety recall of real tires prompted discontinued use. Nylint then replaced the Firestone script with their Nylint brand. Nylint Trucks with the Firestone script are now highly sought after because of the controversy surrounding the brand. Our offering comes from Uncle's private collection and is in mint, boxed condition. #345-Z is the designation for special markets. This truck was sold through Berland's House of Tools in Illinois.

This marks the first year of production for this toy, as indicated by the straight cut metal at the base of the doors on the cab. The toy measures 24" long. The toy is 100% original and complete with dolly wheels and rear trailer gate ramp. It has very minor paint scratches and scrapes but is in overall very fine condition for a 74-year-old toy. This is a must have for any vintage Tonka collector and has been a part of my personal collection for many years. 1954 Tonka Jewel Tea Co. Truck and Trailer Pressed Steel
This is a 1954 Tonka Jewel Tea Co. Truck and Trailer Pressed Steel toy. This marks the first year of production for this toy, as indicated by the straight cut metal at the base of the doors on the cab. The toy measures 24" long. The toy is essentially 100% original, with the exception of the repainted fuel tanks behind the cab. It has minor paint scratches and scrapes but is in overall very fine condition for a 74-year-old toy. This is a must have for any vintage Tonka or private label collector and has been a part of my personal collection for many years. The Jewel Tea Company operated a door-to-door delivery business from 1899 to 1981 delivering groceries and other household items from their catalog. Tonka partnered with companies like Jewel to create private label toys. -

New in original plain box. A 1920s style, polished aluminum ashtray measures about 3.5” x 5.75”. A great collectible most likely made in the Prohibition Era. Selling AS IS since the age is unknown, but assuming during the 1950's. There are many versions of this novelty available in different metals, ceramics and Bakelite. I acquired this particular item from the Pomona, California Hot Rod Swap Meet in the early 1980's.

Known as the Ford Gas Turbine, Experimental Superhighway Truck, this vehicle was designed to be the cutting edge of hauling transportation efficiency in 1964. It featured 600 H.P. and a cruising range of 600 miles. Our featured toy is in lightly played with condition, strong friction motor and opening rear trailer door. It's missing one light from the roof of the trailer (at the moment. I'll see if I can find it or make a new replacement.) This is an extremely collectible toy and had to come by in such nice shape.

Out of stockThimble-Drome Curtiss Pusher by L.M. Cox. The 1911 vintage style, engine powered airplane is a ready to assemble flying model. Complete with a T-D babe bee engine. The Thimble-Drome Curtiss flying model was only produced for one year, (1960/61) due to its delicate nature and inability to survive smooth landings. The model kits came with a parts re-ordering form that I assume was used extensively by model flyers! One of my favorite all-time kits that is extremely well made and has excellent detail. The pilot figure comes with lead weights that fit inside his legs and acts as the counterbalance to the power of the gas, .029 engine. This kit is becoming exceedingly rare to find in any condition, but this kit offered is 100%original, including the decal sheet. I offer replacement waterslide decals for this model elsewhere on our site.

The Vintage Carousel Texaco Gas Pump Gumball Machine Bank, MIB looks like a vintage style Texaco gas pump. Quality construction, made of die cast metal with a safe plastic globe. The bank stands 21" tall and the globe on top lights up. The globe is battery powered and works. The globe holds up to 1.5 lbs of gumballs or other types of treats like candy or peanuts. The coin mechanism accepts pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Or set it for free dispensing. This item is new and was opened only to photograph and verify light function. This is a brand new custom toy manufactured by Uncle Al's Toys and is called Robot Super Cycle. Color stylings are reminiscent of the vintage tin Bandai Super Cycle. Robot Super Cycle features a die cast metal cycle with rubber tires and a tin, seated robot. The rocket measures 15.25" long.

A replacement brass metal battery holder and lightbulb for the 1960’s Ideal Toys Robert the Robot. The battery holder is a perfect fitting replacement brass part complete with a correct, new bulb. We test fit each battery bar to an original toy robot to ensure an exact fitting installation.
To install, just remove Robert's head and insert the battery into the holder. Install the part into the robot's body cavity and reinstall the head. He is now ready to light up!
