Without a doubt, one of the RAREST and coolest space toys ever made. 1960's Bandai Sears Radiation Tester Exclusive Area battery operated toy in nice working condition. This toy was available ONLY through Sears and could be found in their 1961 catalog. It operates on two 'D'cell batteries and features Bump N Go action, opening rear bay doors, a smoky fog emits while the radiation tester unfolds and lifts out of the bay. The arm retracts back into the bay and the doors close and the toy is on it's way again. During the entire cycle, the light pods in the rear flash red and green intermittently and are very bright. This early Japanese tin toy is a highly sought after space toy example and is sure to please. As can be seen in the pictures, the toy is in working condition and shows playwear and no paint touch ups. The battery compartment is very clean. This is a sizable toy stretching 21 inches in length, 5 inches wide and nearly 6 inches tall to the top of the antenna. Uncle Al's Toys is the only maker and provider of replacement parts for this toy. Both toys available here have replacement light pods, large antenna and front sight. Also included but not shown is a wonderful, first quality reproduction box, also available nowhere else! A great old vintage battery operated space toy that makes an outstanding functioning shelf piece display. This is not one to miss!

Extremely nice and mint in the box is this Rescue Robot R-1 from Rocket USA and made in China. This robot first came to my attention years ago when it was featured in a Duracell Battery commercial and I knew right then I had to have one. This version is quite a bit harder to find than the subsequent R-1 robots to hit the market. Very simple battery toy which features Bump n Go action, flashing top light and eyes and clasping hands. R-1 operates on two 'AA' size batteries.

This is a 1960's Alps Battery Powered HOT ROD Custom 'T' Ford with original box with inserts. The toy features Stop and Go action, vibrating action, lighted engine and 'smokey' boiling radiator. Extremely nice piece in excellent original condition.

Masudaya 'Queen Of The Sea' battery operated ocean liner in excellent working original condition. The Queen requires 3 'D' cell batteries for operation and features Bump N Go action, loud ships horn, red and green flashing lights and spinning radar antenna. The antenna and metal ship's flag are Uncle Al's reproductions. There is some very minor rust damage near the battery compartment but not inside. Awesome toy nearly 24" long.

Another fine Sears Exclusive toy is 'The Turnpike Line' Racer, Indy 500 style open wheel car with friction powered motor and with 'built in manual jacks'. This large tin car is in very nice played with condition. The manual jack feature works fine as does the friction power. The only items missing from the original offering are the two spare tires, the driver and the box.

Another one of my personal favorites is this fabulous TN/Nomura/Baravelli Sonic Car Dodge Charger in 100% original condition and in the original box with insert foam blocks. The Sonic whistle has never been removed from it's plastic bag. Each blow of the whistle commands the car to perform a different function, forward, reverse, left and right and finally for the machine guns to propel out of the roof of the car with bright flashing muzzle fire! Unique and again, a large 15" long by 6" wide and 5" tall. There is slight oxidation on the brightwork trim of the car but overall is just stunning! Operates on 2 'D' cell and 1 9volt battery.

Vintage 1960's Ohio Art Carnival Shooting Gallery in wonderful complete and working condition. Received as a birthday present when I was a kid, this large and heavy wind up tin toy has ducks on a conveyor belt that slowly pass in front of a circular spinning target. The original elastic belts are still in very good condition and the toy works well. It comes with two original dart guns and two original black shaft darts. An after market package of Ohio Art darts is included as the rubber tips are in good shape. This toy comes in the original box and shows wear and age but displays nicely. Beautiful full color litho gallery in extremely nice condition and rare to find with two original working dart guns/darts!

From the early 1900's we present this offering from the McDowell Toy Company of Pittsburgh, the #26 "MAC" Dutch Mill tin sand toy in very loved and played with condition. The toy originally came with a small tin tray for catching the sand and a small cloth bag to put the sand in. Sand deposited into the hopper at the top of the toy pours over internal paddles which turn the windmill blades and sets the little operating man on the back of the toy into action, making it appear he is turning the blades. The lithography appears on all sides of the toy. It is pure art and very indicative of the quality of early American toys. The toy has one broken tab supporting the hopper but it can easily be fixed. This beautiful shelf piece would look awesome displayed with books and/or other antiques.

This little red wagon customizing kit is a great model from the 1960's. You have the option to build three basic versions: the Little Red Wagon, a stock A-100 Dodge truck, and a drag strip push car. The never assembled kit is complete with original directions and decal sheet but there are loose pieces off the trees. This molded red plastic Dodge includes workable steering, opening doors and tailgate. It also includes parts for stock version including 273 cubic inch V-8 engine, 426” Hemi-engine, and Goodyear 11” slicks. The kit is in excellent condition. The box is in fair condition. A rare find. This is an excellent reproduction of the KO, Japan Space Whale Ship by the St. John Co., Marxu International of China. Space Whale Ship is a wind up toy that will open his mouth and tail and fins move during operation along with a 'sparking' action in the rear of the toy. Original versions of this toy sell for hundreds of dollars. There are a few subtle differences to be mindful of when looking at this toy. Original KO Space Whales have blue tinted plastic for the eyes where as the reproduction is clear plastic. Extremely nice job done on the lithography and a great addition to your collection!

Very RARE, Carolina Best 'Space Walking Dogs' counter card display from the late 1960's. This counter display has all 24 originally bagged and stapled ramp walker dogs still hanging in place after nearly 50 years and looks incredible in your man cave, woman cave, home or office. This is the I.W.G. Rocket Ship, Rocket World, Green Version in Box. It is an extremely fun sort of 'steam punky' rocket ship with a light up cockpit and crazy animal figure. I know there is a whole back story to the Stange Co. Rocket World toy offerings in this series but the large rocket ships really got to me! These are VERY hard to come by now and go for a premium price when you can find them. This toy comes complete with the inserts and original box. The gun fell out of the blister insert during the photo shoot but it's there.

Here we have a beautiful Bluebird National Park Excursion Bus by Daiya of Japan. This very nice size bus is 14"long, 4 1/2" wide and approximately 4" tall. It has friction drive with sound and is all tin construction with celluloid windshield and rear window. An extremely nice condition and rare bus toy to add to your transportation collection.

A reproduction metal cast canon barrel for the early 1900's Large Marklin battleships. The barrel will fit other battleships, like the Battleship New York and the Columbia. My cast barrels pick up all of the fine details of the original. I individually drill each barrel center to the correct inner diameter and add a tiny breach hole at the rear. The barrel measures 2" long. A barrel comes in a patina condition to reflect the condition of your toy, or it can be patinated as new for completely restored toy boats. I had the pleasure of performing intricate repairs on a Columbia Battleship from the Malcolm Forbes Collection. Other custom parts are available upon request.

This is a wonderful Alps 'Auto Doggie' Mustang convertible battery operated car, made in Japan. The toy is a 'Bump N' Go multi directional mover. Auto Doggie is in excellent working condition with the original driver and a replacement dog. (The other dog ran away . . .) When the toy is in play, the car moves about the room and the doggie barks and makes a jumping movement in the passenger seat. It's a large toy measuring 14" long and 5" wide. It is in excellent working condition and is always in a glass cabinet on display in my collection.

This is a replacement front sight for the 1960's Sears Exclusive Bandai Area Radiation Tester. This part was cast from a mold of an original toy part and installs to the toy as original. Simply insert the end into the toy with a little adhesive and press into place. Many other parts are available for this toy.

Comet Monorail Battery Operated Toy, TN Nomura Japan is in excellent working condition. This toy comes complete with metal track and the original box. The Monorail car operates on 'D' cell batteries. It features forward and reverse action and has red and green lights which correspond with the movement. The track layout is approximately 20" by 30". The Monorail car is suspended by the metal uprights and wire track that snap together to form the layout. The litho is bright and crisp and shows very light playwear overall. This toy was produced in the 1950's in Japan due in part to the popularity of the Disneyland Theme Park Monorail in California. It can be played with or used as an attractive display piece.

This is a Bandai 1959 Cadillac tin friction car in excellent original condition. The toy has very minor scuffing (possibly box rub) and is virtually un-played with. The tire treads are crisp and the friction is very strong. This toy has been in my personal collection for several years. This would be a beautiful addition to any tin toy car collectors fleet.

The toy is complete with box inserts. It operates on 2 'D' cell batteries (not included) and features bump n go action. This is a beautiful mint condition toy fresh from my personal collection and is sure to please! The Double Decker Bus is a wonderful example of the standard mode of transportation of the early 20th century. The Double Decker Bus was and still is commonly used for tourism in America as well as Europe. This toy bus has many features such as mystery action, sounding horn and engine sound and funny shaking action as it rolls on its journey. This marvelous toy has never been out of the box and never seen a battery since the factory. As good as these toys get!

Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House Black CAT is a perfect reproduction of the original toy part. Many of these Marx houses are either missing the entire cat or the cat is missing the tail, which is quite fragile and prone to breakage. I take great care to cast the cat in black plastic and add paint for the yellow eyes and red tongue, just like the original! Marx Hootin' Hollow Haunted House first appeared on TV in the mid 1960's. The commercial features a spooky announcer and two children playing with and truly enjoying the houses many amazing features. The toy boasts a jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window, a scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a skeleton that jumps out of the chimney, a spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated by buttons and 3 'D' cell batteries. This is a replacement head for the 1939 Ideal Novelty and Toy Company, Superman composition toy/doll figure. This is the first known Superman toy and they are extremely rare and in high demand. This replacement head was created from a mold made of an original head. A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. A wonderful Marusan, Japan Sunbeam Motorcycle with Sidecar battery-operated toy in excellent, fully working condition. The Sunbeam operates with two 'D' cell batteries inserted into the sidecar. The sidecar switch operates the headlight, red license plate, taillight and the front running light. Upon battery insertion and without operating the light switch, power is instantly available to the electric motor to power the bike. The bike operates by switch movement on the gas tank. First gear is slow speed, second gear for higher speed and neutral or 'off'. The front fork is steerable and can be positioned for straight or circular motoring direction. These were very sensitive and fragile toys and most became shelf displays due to mishandling. This toy has been thoroughly checked and adjusted for superior function. Truly a delight and a must have for motorcycle collectors and enthusiasts alike!

Here we have a new RED replacement jet cone for your Nomura (TN) Japan 3 Stage Rocket. The pins on the original toy cones were very easily broken due to their outside location on the main body of the rocket. This toy REALLY moves when in operation and it's understandable why these fragile parts would break. The installation of these parts is not for the inexperienced individual. There are tiny light bulbs (not included) on very short wires that mount to the back of the cones and great care must be taken when removing the old cones. This is the ONLY source for this toy part and it is a perfect replacement!

This is an item that I've needed to make for some time and finally have it ready for purchase. The Bandai Volkswagen Bus battery operated version has this delicate, rear opening door that is so often missing from these toys. I had a toy with a damaged original door that I was able to recreate in tin to look and function just as original. This new tin door comes as shown in white automotive primer for $95.00 USD and can be finish painted in either RED or CREAM IVORY as the two original toy color versions that were available for an additional $25.00. It also comes with the hinge pin for mounting the door to the vehicle. This is an absolute must have if your bus is missing its rear hatch door and it is available no where else!

A perfect fitting replacement Bee Hive Gun Tip for the B-W Molded Plastics Company 'Tommy-Ray Space Gun'. The space gun is a battery operated toy featuring a noisy, vibrating ray gun blast with a light up gun tip. The toy operates on two 'D' cell batteries. The Bee Hive Gun Tip is a removable toy part that provides access to the light bulb in the end of the gun and it slips snugly over the plastic that surrounds the back of the light bulb. Many Tommy-Ray Space Guns no longer work. There is little to no way to service them because of the adhesive and type of plastic used. They are literally fused together and I've yet to successfully separate one to date. With that being said, it is still an excellent display toy when complete and it REALLY looks good with the matching helmet and box.

Replica Knockoff Spinner for Exclusive Sears Indy 500 Turnpike Racers Replica Knockoff Spinner for the Exclusive Sears Indy 500 Turnpike Racers - This listing is for new, white metal reproduction knockoff spinners for the Sears Exclusive battery operated Indianapolis 500 Race Car or the Sears Turnpike Line friction racer and the Sears Indy 500 friction racer. These three toys utilize the same master cast spinner but have different threaded diameters. The battery operated spinner has a smaller diameter hole than the friction cars so PLEASE SPECIFY which spinner you need when you purchase. The white metal castings are a bit softer and the wings are a bit thicker than the originals but as you can see, they look and work great. Holes come drilled and tapped so all you have to do is put them on your cars. Please also note that these are fabricated to mount on original car threaded studs. If someone has broken the original studs and replaced with an aftermarket screw, these will not work. When viewing the pictures, the white Indy 500 car is sporting the new knockoffs. The green Turnpike racer has original cast spinners. Note the larger mounting stud of the Turnpike car. These parts are in stock and ready to go.

Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2000, the 1969 Plymouth GTX diecast model car is No. 2 in the Heritage Series and part of a Limited Edition of 5000 cars. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth GTX. The team won many national events and titles over the years and ran many different cars and classes. They competed in NHRA, AHRA and IHRA sanctioned events, and they would modify the car to fit the class at that event. This diecast model features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-11, W-4.5, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.5 x W-6.25 x H-5.75 inches. Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2008, the 1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner diecast model car is No. 10 in the Sox & Martin Series and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Professional Drag Race Team Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin's signature Red, White and Blue Plymouth Road Runner. The mid year introduction of the 440 6BBL Road Runner was designated to bridge the gap between the 383 cubic inch V-8 and the much more costly 426 HEMI. The 69 1/2 6BBL package included a flat black fiberglass hood, four speed manual trans, a Dana rear axle with a 4.10 gear ratio, and three two carburetors a top an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold and was rated 390 hp. This diecast model features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2002 the 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model car is Pro Stock Series #4 Issue No. 4 and part of a Limited Edition. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the 1970 Plymouth driven by professional drag racer Don Grotheer. Don's Super Stock Plymouth race cars were always a contender at any racing event. His familiar orange, blue and white race cars looked as good as they ran. In 1970 he built and raced one of the first Barracuda Pro Stockers. The new Pro Stock class was a heads up class, with no handicaps. It also allowed the racers the use of fiberglass hoods and fenders and many engine modifications. These rules resulted in some of the fastest door slammers in the sport of drag racing at the time. This 1970 Plymouth Cuda diecast model features opening hood and doors, race oil pan, a detailed 426 Hemi Engine, authentic paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10, W-4, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.5 x W-6.5 x H-6 inches. The model is still in its original packaging. Produced by RC2 Collectibles in 2005, the 1971 Dodge Hemi Rod Shop Challenger SS/DA 1:18 scale diecast model car is part of the Supercar Collectibles series of custom, limited edition cars. This MOPAR diecast model is a true-to-scale replica of one of the cars owned by Gil Kirk's famous Rod Shop. The Rod Shop was a well known Speed Shop in the Columbus Ohio area. In 1971, Gil Kirk and Jim Thompson got together with Chrysler and formed an all Dodge race team. The scope of the team was considerable, participating in many of the sportsman classes and Pro Stock. The highly-detailed model features an opening doors, trunk, and hood, steerable front wheels, and a beautifully detailed interior and chassis. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10.5, W-4, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches. The car is still in its original packaging. Never displayed and the box only shows minor storage wear. A must have for true collectors!

This listing is for a metal replacement battery cover door that fits the Nomura battery operated Robby Space Patrol, the Moon Car - Moon Patrol Space Division #3 and the Moon Space Ship. This replacement door is a hand worked, three piece reproduction of the original cover and each one is fitted to a toy to ensure proper fit and function. The bottom of the toy needs to be accessible in order to properly attach the cover. The hinges come pre-bent for proper insertion and care must be taken when installing. The reason so many of these toys end up with missing covers is primarily due to the fragile design of the hinges. Once the hinges are inserted into the 'L' slots (working from the inside of the toy), the hinge pins that are bent at 90 degrees are straightened with a plier to form a 'T' shape, effectively locking the door in place. I use a duck bill plier to flatten the hinge completely. If you are uncomfortable opening up the toy, the door hinges can be carefully inserted into the 'L' shaped slots and then closed and latched but please note that this should only be done if you don't intend to insert the batteries. The cover, when inserted this way is only being supported by one half of each hinge. The battery weight will put too much pressure on the hinge and could break the pins. As you can see in the pictures, I've inserted a door into the bottom of one of my toys to test the fit of the door when the latch is engaged. Each door I make is tested in this fashion to guarantee an excellent fit for your toy. Other parts are available for this toy and will be listed soon.

Replacement Battery Cover for the Marusan Cadillac This listing is for a tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated version of the Marusan Cadillac. The cover is often found missing from the Cadillac cars since the attachment is not permanent. As you can see, this new cover fits perfectly and looks great! A side by side comparison shows very slight differences between the two covers. My replacement has a larger piece of electrical board installed and the tongue latch is a bit longer for a better hold to the car. We prime the cover before finishing it with an automotive lacquer that matches the Marusan black color. The painted cover is then given a final polish. Just remove the cover from the packaging and install it on your car. Absolutely no disappointments with this part!

Battery Box Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House is a perfect fitting replacement tin part complete with battery contacts. Each battery box is test fit to an original toy rear panel to ensure an exact fitting installation. Just solder your wires and go! The battery contacts are slightly different than the original ONLY in that I have installed the flexible brass contact at both ends rather than the round stationary contact as original. The contact board is also gray vs. the original tan color. *Please note* You will see in one of the gallery pictures that I have installed 3 'D' Cell batteries in the new box. These are Heavy Duty batteries - NOT ALKALINE BATTERIES! Alkaline batteries did not exist at the time the haunted house and many other tin battery toys were made. This exceptionally well-made set from the Memory Lane collection is from my wife's personal holiday collection. The package is open but complete with all of the accessories. 2004 Menards Enchanted Forest Collection 72" Standing Santa Figure We purchased this beautiful, 6' tall Old World Santa figure from our local Menards store back in 2004. Santa is extremely lifelike with thick beard, piercing eyes and real glasses! His burgandy/sage hooded robe is full and soft, covering a full length golden inner garment. The body comes in two pieces that need to be assembled; held together by 4 wing nuts and mounted to a sturdy wooden base. We displayed this Santa in our home the first year after purchasing and he has been in climate controlled storage since. I have not been able to locate a finer, LIFE SIZE Santa anywhere in my searches. This particular Santa was only offered by Menards one year and then the item was retired, as is the case with most Menards Enchanted Forest items. This item is large in its original packing box - 44" X 24" X 17" and approximately 40 pounds. Local pick up in Los Alamitos, California is preferred or shipping by freight.
