Bandai Area Radiation Tester Replacement LIGHT POD, Right Hand RED is now finally available. These light pods were created from molds made of the original toy parts. The brass contacts for the light bulbs are hand made of the same thickness and configuration of the original parts. The same wattage bulbs are installed and colored as original. Ample wire is supplied and will be trimmed to length when you install. It should be noted that the pods are designed to be installed in the same fashion as the original parts. Some skill is required to open the tin pod pylons (not included - you must have the original pylons). The pods are secured to the pylon by brass eyelets with a minimum length of approximately 3/16". Once mounted, the wiring for each pod is trimmed to length and soldered to the pylon electrical mount pins. Be sure to apply electrical tape over the solder connections before reassembling the two pylon halves. The pods are also available as a set for a discounted rate of $250.00.

Lincoln Continental Hood Ornament Antenna Set A reproduction tin and metal hood ornament/antenna combination for the Linemar 1956 Lincoln Continental tin cars. These parts are compatible with all versions of the Linemar Lincoln battery operated friction and remote control. The company liked to ship these parts separately from the toy and as a result, these parts were often lost. I fabricate the reproduction hood ornament exactly as the original with a large tab on the bottom side. This feature allows the hood ornament to insert easily into the slot above the grill. The reproduction antenna is the same as the original diameter of the shaft and fits correctly into the hole in the fender. The car in the picture is for display purposes only and is not for sale. These parts are now made to order. Please allow two weeks for delivery.

Replica Knockoff Spinner for Exclusive Sears Indy 500 Turnpike Racers Replica Knockoff Spinner for the Exclusive Sears Indy 500 Turnpike Racers - This listing is for new, white metal reproduction knockoff spinners for the Sears Exclusive battery operated Indianapolis 500 Race Car or the Sears Turnpike Line friction racer and the Sears Indy 500 friction racer. These three toys utilize the same master cast spinner but have different threaded diameters. The battery operated spinner has a smaller diameter hole than the friction cars so PLEASE SPECIFY which spinner you need when you purchase. The white metal castings are a bit softer and the wings are a bit thicker than the originals but as you can see, they look and work great. Holes come drilled and tapped so all you have to do is put them on your cars. Please also note that these are fabricated to mount on original car threaded studs. If someone has broken the original studs and replaced with an aftermarket screw, these will not work. When viewing the pictures, the white Indy 500 car is sporting the new knockoffs. The green Turnpike racer has original cast spinners. Note the larger mounting stud of the Turnpike car. These parts are in stock and ready to go.

Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House can be seen in a mid 1960's TV commercial featuring a spooky announcer and two children playing with the house. The actions are triggered by pressing the buttons on the side. A jumping cat, a witch behind the opening front door, a ghost floating in the air behind a lighted window. A scary window shade, a shaking roof with banging shutters, a skeleton that jumps out of the chimney. A spooky, eerie sound and a frightening loud whistling noise. All of these features are operated with 3 'D' cell batteries.

This is an item that I've needed to make for some time and finally have it ready for purchase. The Bandai Volkswagen Bus battery operated version has this delicate, rear opening door that is so often missing from these toys. I had a toy with a damaged original door that I was able to recreate in tin to look and function just as original. This new tin door comes as shown in white automotive primer for $95.00 USD and can be finish painted in either RED or CREAM IVORY as the two original toy color versions that were available for an additional $25.00. It also comes with the hinge pin for mounting the door to the vehicle. This is an absolute must have if your bus is missing its rear hatch door and it is available no where else!

Here we have a new RED replacement jet cone for your Nomura (TN) Japan 3 Stage Rocket. The pins on the original toy cones were very easily broken due to their outside location on the main body of the rocket. This toy REALLY moves when in operation and it's understandable why these fragile parts would break. The installation of these parts is not for the inexperienced individual. There are tiny light bulbs (not included) on very short wires that mount to the back of the cones and great care must be taken when removing the old cones. This is the ONLY source for this toy part and it is a perfect replacement!

This is a replacement front sight for the 1960's Sears Exclusive Bandai Area Radiation Tester. This part was cast from a mold of an original toy part and installs to the toy as original. A replacement antenna for the 1960's Sears Exclusive Bandai Area Radiation Tester. Modeled from pictures of an original toy part, the Antenna installs to the toy the just like the original. We have many other parts available for this toy! Sears Exclusive toys are highly sought after and extremely collectible because of their diverse subject matter and outstanding quality. The Area Radiation Tester made its first and only appearance in the 1961 edition of the Sears Christmas Catalog as a Sears Exclusive toy. A truly unique and futuristic toy, the Area Radiation Tester is an action toy. Featuring Bump N Go movement, alternating flashing red and green light pods and an articulated radar arm that rises from the rear of the toy in a cloud of smoke! Operates on two 'D' cell batteries inserted into the bottom of the toy. To commence the action, simply slide the carefully hidden On/Off switch on the rear of the toy. The toy automatically comes to a full stop when the rising radar dish pops through the bay doors. Truly an amazing sight to view this toy in operation!

Replacement Battery Cover for the Marusan Cadillac This listing is for a tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated version of the Marusan Cadillac. The cover is often found missing from the Cadillac cars since the attachment is not permanent. As you can see, this new cover fits perfectly and looks great! A side by side comparison shows very slight differences between the two covers. My replacement has a larger piece of electrical board installed and the tongue latch is a bit longer for a better hold to the car. We prime the cover before finishing it with an automotive lacquer that matches the Marusan black color. The painted cover is then given a final polish. Just remove the cover from the packaging and install it on your car. Absolutely no disappointments with this part!

A perfect fitting replacement Bee Hive Gun Tip for the B-W Molded Plastics Company 'Tommy-Ray Space Gun'. The space gun is a battery operated toy featuring a noisy, vibrating ray gun blast with a light up gun tip. The toy operates on two 'D' cell batteries. The Bee Hive Gun Tip is a removable toy part that provides access to the light bulb in the end of the gun and it slips snugly over the plastic that surrounds the back of the light bulb. Many Tommy-Ray Space Guns no longer work. There is little to no way to service them because of the adhesive and type of plastic used. They are literally fused together and I've yet to successfully separate one to date. With that being said, it is still an excellent display toy when complete and it REALLY looks good with the matching helmet and box.

Tommy-Ray Space Gun Replacement Bee Hive Battery Cap - A perfect fitting replacement Bee Hive Battery Cap for the B-W Molded Plastics Company 'Tommy-Ray Space Gun'. The space gun is a battery operated toy featuring a noisy, vibrating ray gun blast with a light up gun tip. The toy operates on two 'D' cell batteries. When batteries are inserted into the back of the gun, a folding brass contact tips up against the negative side of the battery and the Bee Hive Cap secures the brass tightly to the battery. Without the cap, the battery does not maintain contact. Due to the nature of the plastic used in manufacturing this toy, warping of the plastic battery opening often occurs in the absence of the cap. This issue can be remedied by applying medium heat with a heat gun or hair dryer completely around the battery opening, but not TOO much. *Be sure to remove the batteries before attempting this procedure!* Once softened the cap can be used to round the opening once more by manipulating the tabs of the cap into the opening and allowing the warmed plastic to cool, but this process must be done quickly as the plastic cools quickly. Many Tommy-Ray Space Guns no longer work. There is little to no way to service them because of the adhesive and type of plastic used. They are literally fused together and I've yet to successfully separate one to date. With that being said, they are still excellent display toys when complete and REALLY look good with the matching helmet and box.

This listing is for a metal replacement battery cover door that fits the Nomura battery operated Robby Space Patrol, the Moon Car - Moon Patrol Space Division #3 and the Moon Space Ship. This replacement door is a hand worked, three piece reproduction of the original cover and each one is fitted to a toy to ensure proper fit and function. The bottom of the toy needs to be accessible in order to properly attach the cover. The hinges come pre-bent for proper insertion and care must be taken when installing. The reason so many of these toys end up with missing covers is primarily due to the fragile design of the hinges. Once the hinges are inserted into the 'L' slots (working from the inside of the toy), the hinge pins that are bent at 90 degrees are straightened with a plier to form a 'T' shape, effectively locking the door in place. I use a duck bill plier to flatten the hinge completely. If you are uncomfortable opening up the toy, the door hinges can be carefully inserted into the 'L' shaped slots and then closed and latched but please note that this should only be done if you don't intend to insert the batteries. The cover, when inserted this way is only being supported by one half of each hinge. The battery weight will put too much pressure on the hinge and could break the pins. As you can see in the pictures, I've inserted a door into the bottom of one of my toys to test the fit of the door when the latch is engaged. Each door I make is tested in this fashion to guarantee an excellent fit for your toy. Other parts are available for this toy and will be listed soon.

Irwin 'Man From Mars' Replacement Bubble Helmet A two piece bubble helmet for the Irwin 'Man From Mars' wind up toy from the 1950's. The helmet comes in two pieces as shown and installs just as the original. There are 4 alignment pins on one helmet half and 4 corresponding holes on the other half. A small bit of super glue to each pin will secure the helmet to the spaceman. There is a hole in the top of the helmet for the rubber antenna, which is also available here on this site. Many of the original bubbles are missing, cracked and re-glued or have become clouded or crazed from age. My new bubble is guaranteed to be an excellent fit and remain clear for years to come!

The mold for this new canopy was created using the original metal canopy frame for a PERFECT FIT. Original canopies have tended to shrink and crack over time. This head was created from photographs of the auction car from the Griffith's Auction of 2000. Only two tabs held the original head to the toy, which is probably why so many heads were lost. This is the Metaluna Mutant from the movie 'This Island Earth' back in the 1950's, I believe. This is a latex mask, very heavy (just under 10 pounds) and is approximately 20" tall. I believe this is the first version since 2000 and is increasingly more difficult to find.

Very RARE, Carolina Best 'Space Walking Dogs' counter card display from the late 1960's. This counter display has all 24 originally bagged and stapled ramp walker dogs still hanging in place after nearly 50 years and looks incredible in your man cave, woman cave, home or office. Battery Box Marx Hootin Hollow Haunted House is a perfect fitting replacement tin part complete with battery contacts. Each battery box is test fit to an original toy rear panel to ensure an exact fitting installation. Just solder your wires and go! The battery contacts are slightly different than the original ONLY in that I have installed the flexible brass contact at both ends rather than the round stationary contact as original. The contact board is also gray vs. the original tan color. *Please note* You will see in one of the gallery pictures that I have installed 3 'D' Cell batteries in the new box. These are Heavy Duty batteries - NOT ALKALINE BATTERIES! Alkaline batteries did not exist at the time the haunted house and many other tin battery toys were made.
