These models were also available as pre-built display items with a bit more detail in the late 1960's. The novelty is that these models are produced on the island and feature Koa wood components. The box art is also exceptional. This item is desirable for both model builders and Hawaiian artifact collectors alike.

This little red wagon customizing kit is a great model from the 1960's. You have the option to build three basic versions: the Little Red Wagon, a stock A-100 Dodge truck, and a drag strip push car. The never assembled kit is complete with original directions and decal sheet but there are loose pieces off the trees. This molded red plastic Dodge includes workable steering, opening doors and tailgate. It also includes parts for stock version including 273 cubic inch V-8 engine, 426” Hemi-engine, and Goodyear 11” slicks. The kit is in excellent condition. The box is in fair condition. A rare find. Hi-Bouncer Moon Scout Astronaut by Marx - a very rare robot man indeed! Hi-Bouncer was so named because of the 'Hi-Bounce' superball style rubber balls that he shoots from his chest. This toy works wonderfully but is not 100% original. The toy has my replica working/lighted antenna, 5 correct size rubber balls and a replacement remote control, all in a beautiful replica box. The two button remote functions are robot walking and robot shooting. 5 rubber balls are loaded into a small compartment in the back of Hi Bouncers head.

The Shooting Gallery is made of tin litho and includes a small pouch of steel ball ammo for loading into the gun. With a quick wind of the mechanism to the rear, the 'bad guys on horseback' come riding past on an elastic conveyor belt. Load your ammo into the gun and pick those guys off! The ammo automatically returns for continued play. The toy has had some paint touch-ups but was very well done. This toy was played with and loved but is in marvelous, displayable, and playable condition. An absolute must for your cowboy collector or tin lithography shooting gallery collector!

Hostess With The Mostest Remote Controlled Figure and Bar Cart 1970's Poynter Products - Highly unusual and one of the finest toy in my collection! 1970's Poynter Products 'Hostess with the Mostest' battery operated figure and bar cart, complete with remote control and original instruction sheet. I have no idea how many of these were made but this one is serial #174 and is matched to the powered bar cart. I have never seen another one of these available anywhere. Hostess R/C works perfectly as new. Two very powerful motors under cart can handle the delivery of a full six pack and more as it appears the 31" tall sultry vixen slowly pushes the cart across the floor. The cart dimensions are 16" tall, shelf dimensions are 16" x 10" and width including main drive wheels is 12". Small wires attached to the drive system on one end and in the toes of our 'Giant Babe's' shoes on the other give the illusion of her legs moving back and forth in walking motion. Quite anatomically accurate, she's a sight to behold! Early 1970's, 100% original, serial number and original instructions included.

Hot Wheels Legends to Life Don the Snake Prudhomme Electronic Funny Car. Scale 1:24. Mint in the box. Matching serial number and paperwork. This phenomenal model is truly a work of art and coupled with the finest electronics at the time of manufacturing, it is unparalleled in quality. Some of the many features of this model are a synchronized cassette tape that coincides with the functions of the car; the lifting of the funny car body, firing sound of the engine, which features flashing header pipes and spinning blower belt on the engine front. Spinning tires, wheelie action, count down lights on the starting line tree, just so many features and actions all working at the same time, and the ability to repeat these actions for continued demonstration. The base unit requires 4 'D' cell batteries for operation. I highly recommend only using fresh, brand-new batteries each time this is operated and NEVER leave the batteries in the base. It is NOT recommended for unsupervised children. The display also offers the ability to run the second feature in manual mode and plays the 'B' side of the tape, which is a conversation/interview with the 'Snake' himself. All in all, there is nothing but action packed into this tremendous offering from Mattel. The serialized model matches the packaging and included documentation and is extremely important to maintaining the overall rarity and value of the item. You can be sure that there are very few of these available in this condition and most are in private collections. No disappointments here! -

A 1960's Humble Oil Pump and Derrick toy manufactured by Escon for toy distributor Melvin G. Miller and given as a gift to Humble Oil Refining Co. customers. It is a battery-operated working replica of an oil pump rig and derrick in fully working condition. The battery covers came in two colors, white and red. This toy has an original battery cover that has yellowed over time.

Ichiko Space Patrol Car Astronaut Driver Head - This is a replacement replica tin head for the Ichiko Space Patrol Car. I fabricated my first one of these from pictures of the original. They are comprised of four pieces, front and rear of the helmet, inside face and outer earmuffs and strap. I have since acquired an original head and have created new tooling so that my replacement head is now near perfect! I also replicate the windshields and frames for this toy which run $175.00. These take about 4 weeks to complete from the time of order.

A replica cap compartment cover for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. This cap is near perfect and almost a dead ringer for the often missing plug. The fit is tested on my own toy and an original stack of 5 Kilgore Roll Caps (not included) is inserted and then capped. I believe the original cap was a hollow injection molded part and quite flimsy, which is why they're almost always missing. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. Please ask if you're looking for or need custom parts!

A replica hand crank for the 1950's Ideal Atomic Machine Gun. Created from a mold taken of an original toy part, it is stronger than original because I solid cast the square end that fits into the gun. I also solid cast the pin for turning the crank. The fit is tested on my own toy to ensure accuracy. I still resin cast my part but I designed it to be solid with the exterior look of the original. A replacement brass metal battery holder and lightbulb for the 1960’s Ideal Toys Robert the Robot. The battery holder is a perfect fitting replacement brass part complete with a correct, new bulb. We test fit each battery bar to an original toy robot to ensure an exact fitting installation.
To install, just remove Robert's head and insert the battery into the holder. Install the part into the robot's body cavity and reinstall the head. He is now ready to light up!

Irwin Man From Mars Replacement Antenna</p> This is an exact copy of the original Irwin Man From Mars Antenna and is molded in rubber. It will fit the original plastic helmet or our new replacement helmet, also sold here. The antenna should be softened in hot water prior to installing in an original, sealed helmet so as not to crack the plastic from too much stress. Just insert with a slight twisting motion. You could also add a drop of dish soap for lubrication to the antenna base to ease insertion. These parts are in stock and ready to ship.

Irwin 'Man From Mars' Replacement Bubble Helmet A two piece bubble helmet for the Irwin 'Man From Mars' wind up toy from the 1950's. The helmet comes in two pieces as shown and installs just as the original. There are 4 alignment pins on one helmet half and 4 corresponding holes on the other half. A small bit of super glue to each pin will secure the helmet to the spaceman. There is a hole in the top of the helmet for the rubber antenna, which is also available here on this site. Many of the original bubbles are missing, cracked and re-glued or have become clouded or crazed from age. My new bubble is guaranteed to be an excellent fit and remain clear for years to come!

Irwin Toys Spaceman Wind Up 1950's Orange USA wind-up toy in beautiful replica box made in the USA. Spaceman is a plastic wind-up toy just under 11" tall to the top of his antenna. When you wind him up, he walks forward with a swaying motion and alternately swings his ray guns. This toy was molded in several colors, red being one of the rarest. This toy is completely molded in orange.

This is the I.W.G. Rocket Ship, Rocket World, Green Version in Box. It is an extremely fun sort of 'steam punky' rocket ship with a light up cockpit and crazy animal figure. I know there is a whole back story to the Stange Co. Rocket World toy offerings in this series but the large rocket ships really got to me! These are VERY hard to come by now and go for a premium price when you can find them. This toy comes complete with the inserts and original box. The gun fell out of the blister insert during the photo shoot but it's there.

This is a beautiful, all original, J E Stevens Mechanical Bank, BALD EAGLE & Eaglets c. 1883. In wonderful operating condition with the original 'chirp' box. Insert the coin into the eagle's beak and rotate the 'snake' lever. Watch the mother eagle tilt forward and drop the coin into the nest with the eaglets. The bank emits a 'chirp' noise to complete the coin drop cycle. Additionally, the finish on the bank is still vibrant and excellent. A very nice and rare color scheme is hand painted on the bank.

A very naughty and impossible to find gift! I believe this was a very short-lived company, as there is no current information regarding their current status or other products offered, making this a truly unique item. Risque humor very reminiscent of the Poynter Products Novelty Company.

A very nice Jenny the Balky Mule tin litho windup toy with built-in key by the Ferdinand Strauss Corporation. Circa late 1920's, the toy is wound with a key located on the underside of the cart. Wind the key and watch the wheels turn, the mule balk and the farmer rock back and forth.

Lehmann Duo Rooster and Rabbit Cart Wind Up toy in marvelous shape. This wonderful, whimsical toy from the early 1920's is pure joy to display as fine art! The original lithography is in excellent shape and the wind-up mechanism is strong. In general, the biggest complaint about this toy is the poor performing walking action of the rooster and the drive wheel's tendency to just spin without gaining traction. Because of these issues, these toys spend the majority of their lives sitting on shelves, just to be admired. Our Duo Rooster and Rabbit is 100% original, with the exception of Mr. Rabbit's ears which were fabricated by Uncle Al. This is sure to delight Lehmann toy collectors or collectors of toy animals from the early 20th century.

Lindberg Power Drive Unit R/C Twin Engine Drive System for Boats. A plug-in electric system designed for Lindberg R/C Boats and other boats of similar size. This system is designed to be used with Lindbergs 30" Chris Craft Constellation, the 30" Chris Craft Sportfisherman, the JFK PT-109 1/32 scale and the Blue Devil Destroyer. I installed one of these kits in a Chris Craft Constellation and the power is extremely impressive. It is also an extremely simple installation with very straight forward instructions. When first offered, these kits retailed for $135.00 in most hobby stores. They are exceedingly rare to find in new condition.

Lindberg the Civil War, Union Horse-drawn Field Artillery kit. This is a reissue plastic model kit in sealed, new condition. I am the original purchaser of these kits and I only have SIX available so don't hesitate as they never last long. I purchased these kits 11 years ago and just cracked the case seal for these pictures. The second case of 3 kits is still sealed. These models have never seen a temperature above 68 degrees so I know they are crisp and perfect.

A Linemar 1956 Lincoln Continental TIN Hood Ornament / Antenna Set cars. These parts are compatible with all versions of the Linemar Lincoln battery operated friction and remote control. The company liked to ship these parts separately from the toy and as a result, these parts were often lost. I fabricate the reproduction hood ornament exactly as the original with a large tab on the bottom side. This feature allows the hood ornament to insert easily into the slot above the grill. The reproduction antenna is the same as the original diameter of the shaft and fits correctly into the hole in the fender. The car in the picture is for display purposes only and is not for sale. These parts are now made to order. Please allow two weeks for delivery. -

MAC Dutch Toy Mill Tin Sand 1920 Vintage Toy From the early 1900's we present this offering from the McDowell Toy Company of Pittsburgh, the #26 "MAC" Dutch Mill tin sand toy in very loved and played with condition. The toy originally came with a small tin tray for catching the sand and a small cloth bag to put the sand in. Sand deposited into the hopper at the top of the toy pours over internal paddles which turn the windmill blades and sets the little operating man on the back of the toy into action, making it appear he is turning the blades. The lithography appears on all sides of the toy. It is pure art and very indicative of the quality of early American toys. The toy has one broken tab supporting the hopper but it can easily be fixed. This beautiful shelf piece would look awesome displayed with books and/or other antiques. -

Marusan Cadillac Replacement Battery Cover
This listing is for a tin replacement battery box cover for the battery operated version of the Marusan Cadillac. The cover is often found missing from the Cadillac cars since the attachment is not permanent. As you can see, this new cover fits perfectly and looks great! A side by side comparison shows very slight differences between the two covers. My replacement has a larger piece of electrical board installed and the tongue latch is a bit longer for a better hold to the car. We prime the cover before finishing it with an automotive lacquer that matches the Marusan black color. The painted cover is then given a final polish. Just remove the cover from the packaging and install it on your car. Absolutely no disappointments with this part! -

A wonderful Marusan Sunbeam Motorcycle with Sidecar Battery Operated Toy in excellent, fully working condition. The Sunbeam operates with two 'D' cell batteries inserted into the sidecar. The sidecar switch operates the headlight, red license plate, taillight and the front running light. Upon battery insertion and without operating the light switch, power is instantly available to the electric motor to power the bike. The bike operates by switch movement on the gas tank. First gear is slow speed, second gear for higher speed and neutral or 'off'. The front fork is steerable and can be positioned for straight or circular motoring direction. These were very sensitive and fragile toys and most became shelf displays due to mishandling. This toy has been thoroughly checked and adjusted for superior function. Truly a delight and a must have for motorcycle collectors and enthusiasts alike!

New Era Toys Marv Silversteen Unida Biscuit Delivery Van OOAK! This is another toy from the amazing collection of my friend, Richard Carmosino. This Marv Silversteen special is a true One Of A Kind collectible from New Era Toys. Sadly, Marv passed away in 2011 and many of his fantastic creations were auctioned by Bertoia Auctions in 2013. I have no idea how Richard came about owning this, but it is a truly beautiful creation based on the 1920's Buddy L cab and frame. Unfortunately, the toy was displayed in such a way that the artwork on one side of the toy has faded from sun exposure. The other side still has original, vibrant colors. That aside, New Era collectibles are skyrocketing in value due to their unique subject matter and high-quality production. This is an awesome, LARGE pressed steel creation that is a stand-alone piece and has been numbered by Marv. You will never see another like it! The toy measures 25" in length, 9" wide and is 13" tall. -

This is a brand-new replacement windshield for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Dick Tracy squad, Marx Army Command and Fire Chief friction drive cars. The windshield is created from a mold taken of an original 6 PIN windshield. This windshield will also fit the 4 PIN vehicles simply by removing the second pins from the ends. The convertible replacement windshield is fitted to a tin vehicle during the curing process for a guaranteed excellent fit!

This awesome battery-operated toy requires 3 D cell batteries and one 9 volt battery for the talking feature. This is one of the first battery operated toys to feature the use of transistors for operation. The voice recording mechanism utilizes the 9 volt battery. Pressing one of the buttons on the base allows you to record a special message. After the recording is completed, pressing the button again plays back your message and actuates Pete's beak, eyes and head movement to imply Pete speaking with your voice. These toys are almost never seen in this virtually unplayed with condition. The original box lid has a bit of damage and the missing pieces of the front are included should you wish to have the box repaired. This is a beautiful and outstanding collectible toy.

A replacement cast metal propeller for the Mastercrafters Sessions Airplane Clock. Cast from a mold created of an original clock part and is a guaranteed fit for your clock. This listing is for a replica tin flag for the Masudaya 'Queen of the Sea' battery operated tin ocean liner. This tin flag is a nearly exact replica of the original, almost always missing tin flag that fits to the rear of the ocean liner. A shoulder is machined onto the shaft so the flag sits and fits at the appropriate height. It is a large space toy with multiple actions: whistling noise, revolving flashing light, bump and go action, and the astronaut moves back and forth in his chair. The toy measures 10" long and 5.5" high. Battery operated. Works perfectly. This toy has been in my personal toy collection for almost 20 years and is in wonderful condition. Variations of this toy offer the astronaut figure in a RED space suit, which is the most common version and this one here, which is the astronaut in a GREEN space suit and is considered the rarer version.

Because they are sealed LED units, they never seem to wear out. I first saw the Meridian UFO night light at my sister's house nearly 15 years ago, which prompted me to go in search of these lights for myself. I ended up purchasing all of the remaining lights I could find and haven't seen any more available for years now. These lights are brand new and come sealed in their original blister card packaging. Out of stockThis is a rare Walt Disney World, Epcot Mission Space X-2 Experimental Exploration Spacecraft battery-operated toy that was only available at the theme park gift shop many years ago, and the toy is no longer produced. There are three buttons on the back of the toy that make sound as well as flashing red LED lights in the engines and leading edges of wings and fins. I tried to capture the colors but they are much more vivid in person. An extremely well-made toy that also features an opening cockpit and retractable rolling landing gear. I have a demonstrator to play with and three in their original boxes for sale. These are highly sought after by space toy collectors and Disneyana collectors alike.

This great battery operated toy is a 'Bump n Go' action with working headlights and BEEP horn. Here we have a new RED replacement jet cone for your Nomura (TN) Japan 3 Stage Rocket. The pins on the original toy cones were very easily broken due to their outside location on the main body of the rocket. This toy REALLY moves when in operation and it's understandable why these fragile parts would break. The installation of these parts is not for the inexperienced individual. There are tiny light bulbs (not included) on very short wires that mount to the back of the cones and great care must be taken when removing the old cones. This is the ONLY source for this toy part and it is a perfect replacement!

Nomura Robby Space Patrol/Moon Patrol Replacement Battery Cover
This listing is for a metal replacement battery cover door that fits the Nomura battery operated Robby Space Patrol, the Moon Car - Moon Patrol Space Division #3 and the Moon Space Ship. This replacement door is a hand worked, three piece reproduction of the original cover and each one is fitted to a toy to ensure proper fit and function. The bottom of the toy needs to be accessible in order to properly attach the cover. The hinges come pre-bent for proper insertion and care must be taken when installing. The reason so many of these toys end up with missing covers is primarily due to the fragile design of the hinges. Once the hinges are inserted into the 'L' slots (working from the inside of the toy), the hinge pins that are bent at 90 degrees are straightened with a plier to form a 'T' shape, effectively locking the door in place. I use a duck bill plier to flatten the hinge completely. If you are uncomfortable opening up the toy, the door hinges can be carefully inserted into the 'L' shaped slots and then closed and latched but please note that this should only be done if you don't intend to insert the batteries. The cover, when inserted this way is only being supported by one half of each hinge. The battery weight will put too much pressure on the hinge and could break the pins. As you can see in the pictures, I've inserted a door into the bottom of one of my toys to test the fit of the door when the latch is engaged. Each door I make is tested in this fashion to guarantee an excellent fit for your toy. Other parts are available for this toy and will be listed soon. -
