A very nice Jenny the Balky Mule tin litho windup toy with built-in key by the Ferdinand Strauss Corporation. Circa late 1920's, the toy is wound with a key located on the underside of the cart. Wind the key and watch the wheels turn, the mule balk and the farmer rock back and forth.

A near mint 1950s Tonka Dump Truck No. 315 with its original box and a small sale sheet featuring a Tonka construction hat. The box has age wear from being in a basement for years but is sturdy and sound. The red/yellow color combination truck shows no playwear, and the tires are perfect. There's a slight tinge of oxidation on the front bumper. Not terrible, but worth mentioning to the discerning collector. Also included is a little promo sheet that came with the toy, offering a value discount on the purchase of a Tonka hardhat.

Hot Wheels Legends to Life Don “the Snake” Prudhomme Electronic Funny Car. Scale 1:24. Mint in the box. Matching serial number and paperwork. This phenomenal model is truly a work of art and coupled with the finest electronics at the time of manufacturing, it is unparalleled in quality. Some of the many features of this model are a synchronized cassette tape that coincides with the functions of the car; the lifting of the funny car body, firing sound of the engine, which features flashing header pipes and spinning blower belt on the engine front. Spinning tires, wheelie action, count down lights on the starting line tree, just so many features and actions all working at the same time, and the ability to repeat these actions for continued demonstration. The base unit requires 4 'D' cell batteries for operation. I highly recommend only using fresh, brand-new batteries each time this is operated and NEVER leave the batteries in the base. It is NOT recommended for unsupervised children. The display also offers the ability to run the second feature in manual mode and plays the 'B' side of the tape, which is a conversation/interview with the 'Snake' himself. All in all, there is nothing but action packed into this tremendous offering from Mattel. The serialized model matches the packaging and included documentation and is extremely important to maintaining the overall rarity and value of the item. You can be sure that there are very few of these available in this condition and most are in private collections. No disappointments here!

Vintage Handmade Bronze Wiking Ship by Edward Aagaard for Copenhagen Iron Art. This listing is for a patinated bronze Viking Ship made by Edward Aagaard for Iron Art in Copenhagen, Denmark. Beautifully crafted and detailed model with a dragon head on the bow and its tail on the stern. Fourteen individual shields are attached to each side of the boat using ropes made of metal wire. The mast and bench seat are made of wood and the sail is made of copper with a depiction of a bird in the center of the sail. The boat is intact and complete. It is stamped Iron Art Copenhagen on the rudder. Measures approximately 16 inches long and 13.5 inches tall. Wooden boat stand included.

New in original plain box. A 1920s style, polished aluminum ashtray measures about 3.5” x 5.75”. A great collectible most likely made in the Prohibition Era. Selling AS IS since the age is unknown, but assuming during the 1950's. There are many versions of this novelty available in different metals, ceramics and Bakelite. I acquired this particular item from the Pomona, California Hot Rod Swap Meet in the early 1980's.

Ford Gas-Turbine Van Friction Motor by M.K.K. Powered by a friction motor. Quality construction, heavy gauge metal. A nicely constructed reproduction box. Known as the Ford Gas Turbine, Experimental Superhighway Truck, this vehicle was designed to be the cutting edge of hauling transportation efficiency in 1964. It featured 600 H.P. and a cruising range of 600 miles. Our featured toy is in lightly played with condition, strong friction motor and opening rear trailer door. It's missing one light from the roof of the trailer (at the moment. I'll see if I can find it or make a new replacement.) This is an extremely collectible toy and had to come by in such nice shape.

Thimble-Drome Curtiss Pusher by L.M. Cox. The 1911 vintage style, engine powered airplane is a ready to assemble flying model. Complete with a T-D babe bee engine. The Thimble-Drome Curtiss flying model was only produced for one year, (1960/61) due to its delicate nature and inability to survive smooth landings. The model kits came with a parts re-ordering form that I assume was used extensively by model flyers! One of my favorite all-time kits that is extremely well made and has excellent detail. The pilot figure comes with lead weights that fit inside his legs and acts as the counterbalance to the power of the gas, .029 engine. This kit is becoming exceedingly rare to find in any condition, but this kit offered is 100%original, including the decal sheet. I offer replacement waterslide decals for this model elsewhere on our site.

This is a 1954 Tonka Jewel Tea Co. Truck and Trailer Pressed Steel toy. This marks the first year of production for this toy, as indicated by the straight cut metal at the base of the doors on the cab. The toy measures 24" long. The toy is essentially 100% original, with the exception of the repainted fuel tanks behind the cab. It has minor paint scratches and scrapes but is in overall very fine condition for a 74-year-old toy. This is a must have for any vintage Tonka or private label collector and has been a part of my personal collection for many years. The Jewel Tea Company operated a door-to-door delivery business from 1899 to 1981 delivering groceries and other household items from their catalog. Tonka partnered with companies like Jewel to create private label toys.

This is a 1954 Tonka Livestock Truck and Trailer in extremely nice original condition with signs of light play wear. This marks the first year of production for this toy, as indicated by the straight cut metal at the base of the doors on the cab. The toy measures 24" long. The toy is 100% original and complete with dolly wheels and rear trailer gate ramp. It has very minor paint scratches and scrapes but is in overall very fine condition for a 74-year-old toy. This is a must have for any vintage Tonka collector and has been a part of my personal collection for many years. Part of the Livestock Series, the truck will make a wonderful addition to any pressed steel collection.

A 1957 Tonka "Big Mike" Hydraulic Dump Truck highly prized by Tonka collectors. The truck is in original condition, shows light play wear and both hydraulic pistons are freely working. The original Big Mike is a 1957 offering depicting the Ford style cab. Later versions of Big Mike are the square fender 1958 and the 1959 Landrover that has wide, solid plastic wheels. Nylint "Do It Best" Home Improvement Semi Truck and Trailer new in box. The truck's cab is made out of plastic and pressed steel. The trailer is all pressed steel. The side of the trailer reads DO IT BEST home improvement products, Best Quality, Best Value, Best Selection. The side and front of the cab reads DO IT BEST ALL ACROSS AMERICA. I purchased this example from the 'Do It Best', Roselle (Illinois) Lumber Company on Irving Park Road in the late 1990's. There is a special vertical Roselle Lumber magnetic business card attached to the front of the trailer. This almost qualifies as a private label toy, never removed from its original packaging.

Nylint Milwaukee Tools Semi Truck and Trailer new in box, #345-Z. The truck's cab is made out of plastic and pressed steel. The trailer is all pressed steel. The tires are branded Firestone. Nylint Toys produced toy semi-truck toys with Firestone branded tires until a major safety recall of real tires prompted discontinued use. Nylint then replaced the Firestone script with their Nylint brand. Nylint Trucks with the Firestone script are now highly sought after because of the controversy surrounding the brand. Our offering comes from Uncle's private collection and is in mint, boxed condition. #345-Z is the designation for special markets. This truck was sold through Berland's House of Tools in Illinois.

Texaco Fire Chief, Fire Engine Truck, 1960s AMF WEN MAC Made in USA with the original box and original parts. The fire truck was made in the USA in the early 1960's. This toy was a premium purchase that was available at Texaco Gasoline Service Stations and was wildly popular due to its impressive 25" in length. The toy comes with a garden hose attachment. When used in conjunction with the two rubber side mounted hoses and attached at the pump point on the side of the engine, the water cannon on the rear will dispense a spray for realistic play! A very nice condition toy that has never been used with water. The metal is crisp and rust free. This makes for an incredible display piece as it is in very near mint condition with its illustrated accessory bag.

This is an extremely nice 1960's TN Nomura Piston Tractor with a lighted engine, very near mint in the original box. The toy features forward, neutral, reverse and stop settings with a turn of the chrome knob on top of the tractor. The clear engine block has a red light inside that waves back and forth, simulating busy action. The toy requires two 'D' cell batteries for operation. Please see our video of this toy in motion. The original box is in very good condition and comes with all of the original insert materials. This is an excellent choice for your construction toy collector.

A Smoky Bear remote-control, battery-operated toy made by SAN Co. (Marusan) of Japan in the 1950s. Smoky has 4 actions. He walks forward while raising and lowering his pipe. The pipe lights up and he exhales smoke from his mouth. The battery box is clean! The body is plush with tin litho parts and accessories. Check out the video of this marvelous toy. As with many American copywritten, iconic names and institutions, Smokey the Bear was not immune from shameless hustle. Marusan got around the legal aspects of this by removing the 'e' from the Smokey name and by labeling the toy's hat with the word 'Pioneer', all the while mimicking the Smokey the Bear full wardrobe, complete with shovel! The ultimate in irony, Smoky Bear has a light up pipe and blows smoke like a chimney!

Buddy L Mechanical Scarab Windup Automobile. A pressed steel toy measuring about 10" long with a wind-up motor on the rear wheels.. Be sure to check out the video. This is a very unique and imaginative toy produced by Buddy L in the mid 1930's. The toy is in very good to excellent operating condition, with original paint and Scarab decals on the doors. The toy shows moderate playwear, with numerous scratches overall but the plated trim is clean. This is an extremely well made and unusual subject, collectible toy. To operate the toy, swing the stop lever to secure the rear wheels from rotating and wind the mechanism. Place the toy on the floor, release the stop lever and watch the Scarab move in a forward direction. As the mechanism continues its cycle, a small wheel drops at the rear of the mechanism causing the Scarab to turn in another direction.

1929 Buddy L #208 Transportation Company Bus, 100% Original - This is one of the finest, all original, heavy pressed steel toy busses that you will ever see. This Buddy L Transportation Coach is in incredible, 100% original, unrestored condition with the original leather pull cord still attached. At an impressive 30" length, it's one of the largest toy busses ever produced. The toy has minor surface imperfections and there is mild wear to the original aluminum wheels. As this was also considered a 'ride on' style toy, the steerable front wheels were operated by the riding child turning the spare tires on either side of the front cowl. The toy features steerable wheels and both left and right front opening doors. The original paint is time aged but remarkably few chips or imperfections. The original decals are at 90%. Plated surfaces are tarnished and left unrestored. This is a true museum piece that was acquired from a reputable, world travelled dealer of fine antiquities. There are no disappointments here. This is a beautiful, all original, Mechanical Bank J&E Stevens BALD EAGLE & Eaglets c. 1883. In wonderful operating condition with the original 'chirp' box. When the coin is inserted into the eagle's beak and the 'snake' lever is rotated, mother eagle tilts forward and drops the coin into the nest with the eaglets. A 'chirp' noise is emitted to complete the coin drop cycle. The finish on the bank is still vibrant and excellent. A very nice and rare color scheme is hand painted on the bank. As all of the J E Stevens banks are hand painted, no two are alike and greatly adds to their collectability.

Yonezawa Lincoln Sundeck Convertible XL 500 - This stunning, friction drive concept car is a very rare and desirable TEAL color model. The Sundeck is more commonly seen in a bright red or bright blue color. This is one of the many Yonezawa concept tin friction cars made in the late 1950's. The original tinted canopy is in remarkable original condition and the toy finish has very few minor imperfections. Very little tire wear, excellent friction power and the faint painted script is quite clear on the bottom side of the car. This is one of Uncle's most prized possessions! This is a rare Walt Disney World, Epcot Mission Space X-2 Experimental Exploration Spacecraft battery-operated toy that was only available at the theme park gift shop many years ago, and the toy is no longer produced. There are three buttons on the back of the toy that make sound as well as flashing red LED lights in the engines and leading edges of wings and fins. I tried to capture the colors but they are much more vivid in person. An extremely well-made toy that also features an opening cockpit and retractable rolling landing gear. I have a demonstrator to play with and three in their original boxes for sale. These are highly sought after by space toy collectors and Disneyana collectors alike.

The mold for this new canopy was created using the original metal canopy frame for a PERFECT FIT. Original canopies have tended to shrink and crack over time. A hood ornament replica for the Bandai Lincoln Convertible/Coupe. The replica is cast from an original ornament and fits exactly like the original installation. These are in stock and ready to go. *PLEASE NOTE* You may have to disassemble the toy in order to install this part, depending on whether or not the original emblem was pulled completely out or snapped off. If a piece is still showing on the top of the radiator shell, you can carefully trim the emblem base with an Exacto knife and push the remainder of the shaft through the hole. The new ornament can be glued in place rather than opening the toy.

The Toy Masters Space Survey Jeep friction toy sometimes comes with a tin astronaut driver, but always has a telescope that swings back and forth. A shaft protrudes vertically through the rear of the telescope and the antenna will rotate 360 degrees when mounted atop that shaft. Uncle Al's also fabricates the replacement telescope and cradle assembly for this toy.

These are very small and fit the 11 1/2" version of the car. Bandai 1959 Cadillac replacement tail lights, sold in pairs and currently only available HERE! These require the installer to trim off the mold pin in order to properly fit into the plated trim on the toy and are a PERFECT FIT replacement made from a mold of the original parts. This is a replacement WIND UP KEY for the CIJ Alfa P2 Racer , made in France. All dimensions for the replacement were taken from an original key. The brass shaft diameter and the steel winding handle are of the same thickness as the original key. The length is correct and allows winding without interference or binding near the back wheel of the toy. If you look closely at the pictures, I also drilled and inserted a brass locking pin which secures the handle to the shaft, just as original. These can be ordered with black painted steel winding handle or aged patina. Please specify when ordering. These are in stock in both variations shown here. A wonderful, 1999 Fisher Price 'Dino-roarrr' TRICERATOPS, mint carded plush toy. It is a newer version of the popular Fisher Price 'Puffalump' dinosaur. I nearly had a cow the first time my wife and I came upon our first 'Puffalump' dinosaur. He was so soft and squeezable. I just wasn't expecting the sound that came from the toy when squeezed. It starts out as a high shrill noise and slowly descends into a cooing, 'Aaah' sound. An absolute gas and I was immediately sold by its appeal to small children. The toy was purchased brand new in 1999 and it has been kept in sealed stored condition. This guy comes to you in vivid PURPLE. When squeezed, he opens his mouth and out comes the sound of a very content Dino-roar! Also available is and equally fun Tyrannosaurus Rex in vivid ORANGE color. A replacement red button for the battery-operated sound box. If your Monkeemobile is missing this button, the sound mechanism is very hard to operate. Just a drop of Super Glue will bond the replacement button to the stem. The button is translucent red, just like the original. Many additional parts are available for this toy. This is a brand new exact reproduction of the Pyro X-300 Space Cruiser manufactured by Uncle Al's Toys. A complete original toy was disassembled and molds were made of the individual pieces. As with the original, it features rolling wheels and an astronaut figure. These spaceships can be made in any color combination and more will be available here and on Ebay. The Pyro X-300 Space Cruiser is a beautiful, classic 1950's design that has withstood the test of time in it's popularity. Many different companies across the globe have taken this rocket and added there own design elements. Kleeware and Tudor Rose are two companies that offered this toy in color varieties. T. Cohn offered the rocket with their tin Space Port that would launch the rocket out of the garage and across the floor. Values continue to climb on original toys, making them somewhat unaffordable to new collectors which is why I decided to recreate the toy for those collectors. I will be making other X-300 variations myself with features such as battery operated lighting and friction/sparking drive.

Irwin 'Man From Mars' Replacement Bubble Helmet A two piece bubble helmet for the Irwin 'Man From Mars' wind up toy from the 1950's. The helmet comes in two pieces as shown and installs just as the original. There are 4 alignment pins on one helmet half and 4 corresponding holes on the other half. A small bit of super glue to each pin will secure the helmet to the spaceman. There is a hole in the top of the helmet for the rubber antenna, which is also available here on this site. Many of the original bubbles are missing, cracked and re-glued or have become clouded or crazed from age. My new bubble is guaranteed to be an excellent fit and remain clear for years to come!

Tommy-Ray Space Gun Replacement Bee Hive Battery Cap - A perfect fitting replacement Bee Hive Battery Cap for the B-W Molded Plastics Company 'Tommy-Ray Space Gun'. The space gun is a battery operated toy featuring a noisy, vibrating ray gun blast with a light up gun tip. The toy operates on two 'D' cell batteries. When batteries are inserted into the back of the gun, a folding brass contact tips up against the negative side of the battery and the Bee Hive Cap secures the brass tightly to the battery. Without the cap, the battery does not maintain contact. Due to the nature of the plastic used in manufacturing this toy, warping of the plastic battery opening often occurs in the absence of the cap. This issue can be remedied by applying medium heat with a heat gun or hair dryer completely around the battery opening, but not TOO much. *Be sure to remove the batteries before attempting this procedure!* Once softened the cap can be used to round the opening once more by manipulating the tabs of the cap into the opening and allowing the warmed plastic to cool, but this process must be done quickly as the plastic cools quickly. Many Tommy-Ray Space Guns no longer work. There is little to no way to service them because of the adhesive and type of plastic used. They are literally fused together and I've yet to successfully separate one to date. With that being said, they are still excellent display toys when complete and REALLY look good with the matching helmet and box.

This listing is for a replica tin flag for the Masudaya 'Queen of the Sea' battery operated tin ocean liner. This tin flag is a nearly exact replica of the original, almost always missing tin flag that fits to the rear of the ocean liner. A shoulder is machined onto the shaft so the flag sits and fits at the appropriate height. Other parts are available for this toy such as the light blue radar antenna and the set of two clear dome light bulb covers. This great toy from the 1950's is such a nice, LARGE toy but many times nowadays when you find an example of this toy, it's missing some of these key, impossible to find pieces. The 426 Hemi MOPAR diecast model features true-to-scale details. Opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. Produced by Ertl in 2005, the 1968 Dodge Dart 440 GTS diecast model car 1:18 scale is part of a Limited Edition of 2500 cars. A true-to-scale replica of MOPAR Champion Ron Mancini's bumble bee-striped SS/EA 440 Dart, which on its first time out created a new class record of 12.02, 118 mph. Ron drove it to the world record and second place overall in national points in 1968 and was only edged out by another Dodge in the last race of the season. This diecast model is No 7 in the Series and features opening doors and trunk, removable front hood, chrome accents, real rubber tires and a beautifully detailed interior. The dimensions of the car are approximately L-10.5, W-4.25, H-3 inches. The window box dimensions are L-13.75 x W-6.5 x H-5.75 inches. Produced by Ertl Collectibles in 2004, the 1974 Plymouth Duster diecast model car is Issue No. 11 and part of a Limited Edition of 2004. This model is a true-to-scale replica of the "Miss Mighty Mopar" 1974 Plymouth Duster driven by long-time Chrysler racer Judy Lilly. In 1975, Judy drove this 1974 Plymouth Duster into the winners circle in several major events. She became the first female competitor to win the Gaternationals at Gainesville in Super Stock. In all, Judy Lilly held 4 national and 5 divisional drag racing titles and she never finished lower than 3rd in the NHRA standings during her 12 years on the circuit. In addition, Judy won driver of the year honors in 3 different years and was one of Mopar's best ever in the quarter mile. This 1974 Plymouth Duster diecast model features opening doors and hood, steerable front wheels, chrome wheels, authentic logos and paint colors and a beautifully detailed interior. Austin powers car produced by RC2 in 2003, the Austin Powers Mini Cooper diecast model car is a true-to-scale replica of the car driven by the 60's British Intelligence undercover agent himself. Like any spy worth his weight in love beads, Powers relies on specially equipped vehicles to give him the edge in the battle of good versus evil. The Austin Powers Mini Cooper features posable front wheels and opening doors. The dimensions of this "shag-a-delic" replica are approximately L-8, W-3.5, and H-3 inches. This is a brand new replacement windshield/convertible top for the 1950's 20" tin Marx Falcon friction drive car. The top comes clear and ready for painting in your favorite color. This new top was created from a mold made from the black top in the pictures. As you can see, it's a perfect fit and the glass is clear. The mounting pins are about 1/4" long. A perfect replacement for that cracked, warped or missing top.

Marx Pete the Parrot This Marx Pete the talking Parrot toy from the 1960's comes to you in nearly flawless, mint condition with the original box, hang tag and instruction sheet. This awesome battery-operated toy requires 3 D cell batteries and one 9 volt battery for the talking feature. This is one of the first battery operated toys to feature the use of transistors for operation. The voice recording mechanism utilizes the 9 volt battery. Pressing one of the buttons on the base allows you to record a special message. After the recording is completed, pressing the button again plays back your message and actuates Pete's beak, eyes and head movement to imply Pete speaking with your voice. These toys are almost never seen in this virtually unplayed with condition. The original box lid has a bit of damage and the missing pieces of the front are included should you wish to have the box repaired. This is a beautiful and outstanding collectible toy.

Lincoln Continental Hood Ornament Antenna Set A reproduction tin and metal hood ornament/antenna combination for the Linemar 1956 Lincoln Continental tin cars. These parts are compatible with all versions of the Linemar Lincoln battery operated friction and remote control. The company liked to ship these parts separately from the toy and as a result, these parts were often lost. I fabricate the reproduction hood ornament exactly as the original with a large tab on the bottom side. This feature allows the hood ornament to insert easily into the slot above the grill. The reproduction antenna is the same as the original diameter of the shaft and fits correctly into the hole in the fender. The car in the picture is for display purposes only and is not for sale. Dan Dare SS Eagle Spaceship Canopy for the tin friction rocket from Mettoy of Great Britton. This replacement canopy is an exact copy of an original toy part and is produced in amber tint. The canopy is a removable toy part that allows for flint sparking replacement. This new part contains all of the original flaws of the master part and looks tremendous! Alps Lincoln Futura Replacement Metal Antenna is an exact fitting replica of the original toy deck mounted antenna. This part will fit on all variations of the Alps Futura cars; friction, battery operated and remote control. The replacement antenna mounts to the toy using the same spring shaft configuration and is an easy install. Also available for this toy are the rubber tires and the metal steering wheel. The Yonezawa Burger Chef is a very cute battery operated tin toy from 1950's. It came with a hamburger for the frying pan which the Burger Chef would flip over as it was cooking. However this loose accessory was often lost and the toy is usually seen without the hamburger.
